I don't think you're stupid... but... Some of the Final Fantasy series returning (has that been confirmed already?) I believe a Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles sequel has been announced for the Wii. Not really a proper Final Fantasy game though. I don't think any proper games in the series have been announced. DVD Player maybe? That hasnt been annouced already has it? Boy would that look stupid ?? It has been confirmed that it will run DVDs. You MAY have to buy an add-on (eg. a remote) to access them though (like you had to with X-Box).

I must have been living in the dark ages when this was announced because I didnt even know, sigh... I guess I am stupid. Boy, that does look stupid! Well thanks for the info, I will just go back into my corner now... ;D

Not really... Nintendo very briefly mentioned that it would play DVDs, and they haven't said much else about it since then. Pretty much like how Iwata announced that the Virtual Console will be able to play all-new games. To me this is a hugely important aspect of the Virtual Console, but Nintendo has played on the classic games a lot more. Ahh, I would love to be able to download all of the Wii demos from the Tokyo Game Show.

Back on topic, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, since I personally like Wii, and, to be honest, I do not want a name that sounds like your big old country. I'll agree to disagree, but... Hey! My country is not old! Big, maybe, but not old! If it's an old country you want, talk to the guy sitting in the Wii! Er, back on topic. (1) What do you want the Rev to be called, beside Revolution or (that stupid idiotic) Wii?Can I at least call it the "Wiivolution?"

To me this is a hugely important aspect of the Virtual Console, but Nintendo has played on the classic games a lot more. You know, this got me really really excited. Because there were rumors that you could make your own games for the Wii a while back, and I remember reading Iwata saying that developers could retroactively develop games for older consoles and distribute them via Virtual Console. Not to mention all the smalltime developers who can utilize this, it means that we could actually see retro-designed games by the likes of Capcom, Namco, Nintendo, etc. all over again!
