I think Wrecking Crew should get it's own Franchise Page because there were not too many games published by Nintendo.
Plus it will help breakdown the Mario Game Series List
What do you think Fryguy 64?

I think... no. I'm breaking the list down by removing the cameos and putting them on a separate page. That will shorten it by around half.
But as soon as I start giving spinoffs their own franchise pages (aside from the Mario/Donkey Kong split) then the whole system goes to hell.

I don't know what you're actualy planning, but what might work would be if you split the larger franchise pages up by the diffrent series that make up that franchise with-in that page.
Like Donkey Kong would split up into "(Classic) Donkey Kong", "Donkey Kong Country", "Donkey Konga" and other assorted DK spin-offs instead of a really big list.

Oddly, though, Donkey Kong is the only list I have split up in that way so far... into those three categories. For the record, I am considering Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat to be a Donkey Kong Country game, while Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a Donkey Kong game. All individual spinoffs within the series will be confined to the Misc. Spinoff section. I will also not be splitting the Zelda list into anything daft like "Zelda" and "Four Swords"... they are all Zelda games. Still... I'm not looking forward to doing the Mario game list.

For the record, I am considering Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat to be a Donkey Kong Country game, while Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a Donkey Kong game. Personly, I would'a considered DK Jungle Beats a Donkey Konga game, but MvDK is definently a classic DK game. Mario, though.... that'd be tough. Lesse... Mario vs. Donkey Kong(Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong (GB), Mario vs. Donkey Kong) Mario Bros.(Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 2 (US), Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine) Paper Mario(Paper Mario, Paper Mario 2) Mario Kart(Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Golf: Advance Tour, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!) Mario Tennis(Mario's Tennis, Mario Tennis (GB), Mario Power Tennis) Mario Golf(Mario Golf, Mario Golf (GB), Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, Mario Golf: Advance Tour) Mario Paint(Mario Paint, Mario Artist: Paint Studio, Mario Artist: Talent Studio, Mario Artist: Communication Kit) Mario Party(Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Mario Party 4, Mario Party 5, Mario Party 6) Dr. Mario(Dr. Mario, Tetris & Dr. Mario, Dr. Mario 64) Wario Land(Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, Virtual Boy Wario Land, Wario Land II, Wario Land 3, Wario Land 4, Wario World) Wario Ware, inc.(Wario Ware, inc.: Mega Microgame$, Wario Ware, inc.: Mega Party Games) Yoshi(Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi, Yoshi's Story) Though I probably forgot a dozen or so...

Personally I, and others, would group Paper Mario...
Mario RPG (Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi, Paper Mario 2)

The Mario categories would clearly have to be "Mario Adventures", "Mario Sports", and "Mario Misc."
EDIT: Oh, and a section for stuff like Yoshi and Wario games...umm..."Mario Characters Spinoffs" category. Cant wait for that Peach platformer ;D

The Mario list should be divided up in much the same way that it already is.
A few exceptions:
1) The Wario Ware and Wario's Woods games need to be separated from the Wario platformers (as Narf already pointed out)
2) The Yoshi puzzle games need to be separated from the Yoshi platformers (perhaps under the simple heading 'Yoshi Puzzle Games')
3) Wario Blast should probably go under 'Miscellaneous'
And I agree that Paper Mario should remain under 'Mario RPG's'

Wario's Woods should be with Dr. Mario and specific Yoshi games under a "Puzzle Section". Wario's Woods should go in a misc. section with Luigi's Mansion and others.

Wario's Woods had two games, though, so it would get its own section. Paper Mario will remain a "Mario RPG" (because they're all play so similarly, even though two of them feature a Mario made of paper)
But there is a second list up that divides all of the Mario games by series (linked from the Mario franchise page)... I suspect many of you missed it, and a couple of you didn't.
