Did anyone else notice that Groudon's attack destroyed the background? Also, related info.: ds.ign.com/articles/711/711658p1.htmlds.ign.com/articles/711/711641p1.html ;D "On DS, we have the new Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, brand new entries in the franchise custom-made for the DS. The games are confirmed for use over a DS Wi-Fi connection online, and new to this DS game, voice chat is being used for Friends Listed players to communicate while battling. The two DS entries are due out in Japan this Fall. Wirelessly, you can connect your DS to your Wii, bringing your born little 2D creatures to life in glorious 3D on the Wii screen."

Swishy! And an early release no less. I guess it's also inevitable that there will be a connection between this game and the DS games.
And maybe the GBA games and GC games... seeing as how DS and Wii are backwards compatible! ;D

Either way, I'm sure you'd need to use DP somehow, because Nintendo are like that. Never thought about a Cube connection, but that would be cool.

I've got two words for Nintendo: Online play. Recently, I've been getting back into Pokemon and I found out that someone made a program to battle your Pokemon online. Of course, it's the honor system as far as you actually having the Pokemon.
I was actually hoping for a Pokemon MMORPG, but you can't have everything, right?

I'm just glad to see that the name Revolution is living on. If they had called it "Pokemon Battle Wii," they would have redeployed the insane ultra-conservative anti-Pokemon groups that claim it promotes Satanism and deviant sexual behavior. "They even put a phallic reference right in title of the newest Pokemon game!" This will be a great use of the Wii-Fii network too.

Well, when I see this title, I actually thought: Wow. So what type of connection will I see? Wii-GC? Wii-DS? Wii-GBA? (Remember those GC ports on Wii?)
Hopefully this is going to help selling Wii. I believe Pokémon could attract a lot of kids!

Just watched the video. I'll be honest... I'm a little disappointed at the quality of the characters. They could be so much better put together.
Still, nice to see the Pokemon finally connecting with each other.
