I will be getting it for my birthday, along with other awesome DS games like MPH, on August 14.

I hadn't played this for a while before yesterday, and I'm currently just one path short of 3 stars - that damn world 4 cannon.
I'm gonna get you sooner or later, cannon.

Man I need to play this more. I have only 1 star. I was trying to get the second by playting all the levels.

You really should. You don't appreciate how well designed the levels are until you've tried hunting down every secret exit and every coin.
And you can't say you've completed it if you haven't even played on all of the levels.
On all of the underwater levels with Unagi the eel, did anyone get a faint hint of Donkey Kong Country style platforming? This really was a marriage of Nintendo platformers!
Question to all who have completed NSMB: What was your favourite stage in the game?

Answer to Fry's question: My favourite stage is 8-8, but my favourite world is World 7.
The reason being is that 8-8 is a volcanic stage somehow designed for Mini Mushroom Mario (Well... I don't just say Mini Mario because of that MvsDK toy). However, on overall I like World 7 the best, because the stages are varied enough. Pipe stages, Wiggler riding, mushroom top stage verical-scrolling style and so on.... And wold 7 is also action-packed enough. Remember, this is an action game.
My route of playing is like this: First play - use the shortest method to read World 8 and clear. 1 star. Save anywhere ability gained. After beating - Beat all stage, regardless of anything else. Infinite Mushroom House ability gained. After all these, I aim for 3-star. This is the easiest method, though, so it isn't all that challenging.

Haha, forgot to say... my favourite stage is that rocky one where you have to wall kick your way around into a load of secret areas. I think that's in World 7 as well.
I agree with you... on the whole, World 7 is the best world overall. The giant Wiggler stage is excellent.

The Wiggler stage came to my mind, too, though its probably not my favourite (I'll have to play it through again to work out what would be), it certainly stands out.

What Fry said is really 6-6, not a part of World 7, if I didn't misread your meaning. www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/a2dj/course/super_2/index.htmlAnyone has tried this before? I can't do it! (And hey, Opera can copy image location and link location without accessing the image properties... MUCH better than Netscape!

I probably did mean 6-6. I didn't have the game with me when I posted that.
That trick is excellent. I figured something like that would be possible in certain levels though.
I hate those spiders... especially in World 8.
