Well, this does lend more to the possibility that Sonic may be in Brawl... This may be the first Mario sports game in years that actually interests me, just because of the novelty.

Haha. Yes, I'd say this would be a pretty good sign that Sonic will be in Brawl now. Of course you could look at it the other way... and this is confirmation that Sonic couldn't be put in Brawl, so they worked him in somewhere else...
Who knows. Sounds like a mental idea anyway. We all know who would win the 100m Dash, just as we know who would win the high jump.

It sounds like this game is mostly by Sega... I wouldn't be surprised if Sega agreed to Sonic being in Brawl, then said "Hey, since we're letting you use Sonic in your game..."

Hm, quite the development here. I suppose this is as good as coming out and saying "Sonic is in Brawl, and look, here's Mario in our games!" According to the site, it won't just be Mario and Sonic either. It says "characters" for both. So who's REALLY going to win the high jump now, hm?  |

This is on so much crack XD It has my attention, that much is for sure.
I was going to say how cool it would be if it played more like a regular Sonic or Mario game, but then I realized Sonic games have sucked for ages. ;D So I'll take what I'm getting with nary a foul word.

Apparently the confirmed characters are: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Sonic, Knux, Tails. Unless they opt to include a slew of others, it seems the focus is on the games themselves and giving the stadium as realistic a look as possible. Also, they're including ping pong as one of the events |

Ever since Heroes I've slowly gone from questioning Sonic to hating him with a passion. Really a wrong time for them to finally make a Mario and Sonic game, after I've started hating him.
Yet...
This game is so horrible and shitty it has my interest. We'll see how this goes.
And if it's a whole big April Fool's joke NOA should be using this time to plan out better VC games for April. Just one perhaps. They don't have this much time on their hands, do they?
