But here's a more complete list of what I figure we should expect. If they are going for multiplayer, which they are, they WILL take a cue from the Mario Sports games and include a lot, I think.

Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Wario, DK, Toad, Waluigi, Daisy, Bowser Jr., Diddy Kong
--Possible Alts.: Birdo, Toadette, generics

Sonic, Tails, Knux, Amy, Robotnik (screw Eggman), Cream, Shadow, Big, Rouge, Espio, Vector, Charmy
--Possible Alts.: Silver, Blaze, the rest of the Chaotix (please!)


If only this game was expanded to include a ton of companies. I'd be content with just three from a series so we could toss in Mega Man, Bonk, Goemon, and others.
