I had no problem with the ball rolling stages (plenty of practice with Super Monkey Ball) and the bubble stages were quite easy too. But the Ray Surfing got me every time. I think I took corners too fast or too sharp. But I always managed to grab a ton of 1-Ups, so it didn't matter.

MAJOR SPOILERS You've been warned
Grand Finale Galaxy was the hugest letdown I've ever had. Beat the game all the way though 2 times and what do I get? A cool fight all the bosses in a row galaxy? No. An awesome minigame galaxy? No. I'm greeted with the easiest purple coin hunt in the entire game. Not even a boss in the level. And In Super Mario 64 eskness the castle is unfinished, there's an invisible wall that prevents me from going onto the bridge. Heck, even the waterfall is static. WTF Nintendo?

I think the "true reward" is a little weak, but come on - why would it matter when you got a whole frickin'Luigi Mode just for beating Mario's file with 120 Stars? Granted, it isn't the true end prize, but it's still pretty wicked.
EDiT: Spud, the color thing wasn't working because the code is 003366, not 003399. ;D

SpoilersI played though all the horribly tacked on purple coin hunts on the (Other Guy) runthrough just to have to play the most tacked on one of all. I would have liked a new minigame myself.

I like that postcard. Having Luigi finally be in a proper Mario game after so long is a reward enough, I'd say. I still need the rest of the stars...

Having Luigi finally be in a proper Mario game after so long is a reward enough, I'd say. Tell me about it. The true final reward being lame doesn't make a difference compared to the scope of what you earned and thus needed to clear in order to get that far.

Cheers for posting that so that I had no chance not to see it. At least a link would have been nice.

I just beat it (finally) with the bare minimum amount of stars.
I never even went to the engine room.

Just got had the final battle against Bowser yesterday and got all 120 stars as Mario today.
It's a pretty good game, until I found all the levels I had left were purple comets, that annoyed me a little, the timed missions were fun though. But they should have been part of the regular Prankster Comets and there should have been less of them. They could have repacled some of those levels with some more hidden stars.
Also moving around underwater did feel a bit odd to control and mentioned previously the Ice Flower could have had some more levels.
Also Co-Star is really that great . . . it's quite boring being player 2. It should have disabled the pointer function on the player 1 controller so P2 and P1 both do different functions (P1 get the star and P2 stop enemies, get Starbits and all the other pointer jobs).
I didn't have any camera problems I can really think of, the only one I can was where I jumped off the side when I was around the back of the Around the back of Beach Bowl Galaxy as Spring Mario getting 100 coins and falling off the edge.
Also another thing that made me a little bit sad was WARINING!!! Spoilers!! That the Mii planet you have as your icon for the save file was not an actual planet in the game, I expected there to be one in the game because it seemed so possible for it happen but I wasn't that sad when I found out that was not in the game.
All in all it's a very good game for Wii, great graphics, great sound, a little humor there and there, more characters (Luma's, the Toad Brigade, Luigi) but it's not perfect.
