This game is coming out now sooner than you think. Videos are popping up everywhere! Here is the japanese website where you can watch some videos (they look really awesome!) And here is the intro video for the game! Anyone else recognize that airship music? I also love how Bowser and Peach don't actually talk. There are just subtitles and they grunt and growl! (Hopefully that will be the same case for Brawl) Also, Kamek makes a return! This game just looks too awesome. |

I haven't really seen this mentioned anywhere else, but apparently Bowser Jr. is back for Galaxy:  Note that not even Luigi and Yoshi have confirmed roles in this game yet, but ol' B.J is already definitely in. Yet more evidence of his importance in the contemporary years of the Mario series, and I definitely wouldn't be surprised if he was playable in Brawl at this point. |

That video totally rocked!! I loved that whole raining fire business and it's nice to see Kamek make a re-appearance after all this time.

I've got to say, this looks promising. The Star Village from the video looks really good and the fact that Kamek shows up is a good thing.

Morton could've filled that role just as good if not better. He even has Jr. in his name, and looks way cooler than Bowser Jr.

All the old Koopa Kids are entirely without personality. Any personality they did have comes from the cartoons. As much as I'd like to see them come back, the only reason anybody likes them over Jr is nostalgia. Jr is far more fleshed-out as a character.
And Morton was my least favourite of them all. If they're going to bring only one back, make it Iggy, Roy, Ludwig or Wendy, plz.

Roy (the cartoon version at least) is probably best suited to filling the bully role. Although if he was in it, they'd have to bring them all back. Which I can't see happening in the distant future, so we'll have to settle for this little brat (Bowser Jr).

I like the Koopalings because they actually had potential to be complex or entertaining character, as proven by the cartoons, and by their unique designs. Now, their portrayal in the cartoon wasn't ideal, but it still indicated that something could be done. BJ (lol) is just Bowser's minime, and isn't really imaginative as far as son-of-the-bad-guy characters go. If they brought the Koopalings back, I'm sure they could've done something clever with them. It really angers me that they weren't given any speaking roles in M&L. Wasted opportunity to apply more of that awesome script writing. |
