Wow, this game is so much more varied than I thought a "space game" would be. It looked like a great game with just the space bits, but this has just become on of the defining moments of Nintendo's history in my eyes. Bigger than even Ocarina of Time.
And I haven't even played it yet!
Of course, it will be instantly dwarfed by Brawl as soon as that comes out. Yes, definitely comparably to the heady partnership of Mario 64 and Ocarina way back when.

My hype for Galaxy is doubling with every new shot! It looks like this game is bringing a lot of my favourite elements of the classic games into 3D for the first time... as well as introducing plenty of new ones for me to fall in love with. ;D

New video!!!!Looks like there are side scrolling levels with classic Mario feel, such as the Mario Bros. 3 styled Thwomps, not the newer ones.

New powers!!!!! Check it out!All powers now confirmed. Bee for flying. Boo lets you go through walls, fly, and also control a swarm of Boo's. Invincibility lets you run really fast with a rainbow glow behind you and destroy everything you touch. Ice Mario lets you walk on water, lava, and lots of stuff while freezing it. Fire Flower lets you shoot out fire. And I can't tell what the last one does...Mario is wrapped around by a spring...maybe he jumps high? Also, worlds are shown. these are some screens of the first one.   The second one.   Sorry I couldn't get bigger pics...  |

Those abilities are so cool. I'm pumped about Ice Mario. I haven't been this excited for Mario since Super Mario Bros. 3.

This game seems to be implementing different aspects from past Mario games. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Bowser ended up flying around in his Koopa Klown Kar!

The picture won't show up, and I saw it zoomed in on other sites anyway. If you ask me, it looks too small to be Luigi.

I'm excited that for the first time, we get to see the Fire Flower in a 3D Mario game. Though I was less than pleased about the Petey Piranha lookalike shown in TV Eye's video.
Oh well, can't have everything you wish for *sigh*.
