Well, I used to have to defend Nintendo against Sega fans the same way I now how to defend Nintendo against XBOX and PS2 fans. And I'm still a bit sore of over old ad campaigns (Genesis got what Ninten don't). But I guess I'm happy seeing Sonic on Nintendo consoles rather than Mario on Sega consoles ;D

I also used to defend Nintendo against Sega fanboys. Sega have made some good games, but they've also made a lot of dross. After I started this site I decided to see what I'd been missing from other companies -- and Sega banged out quite a lot of tripe in their early Master System days. Still, gotta love Alex Kidd

The only Sega games I ever really loved were Toejam & Earl and a lot of the stuff made by Sonic Team... I'd say I'm not really a fan of Sega themselves, but I am a fan of Sonic Team. I'm a fan of Nintendo as a whole, rather than just one of it's developers.

Not really anything here, but I owned 3 SEGA consoles before.
Mega Drive: Nothing really. Just 8 games, all publshed by SEGA. And yes, I never beat any one of them.
Saturn: GREAT CONSOLE!!!!!!!!! I mean, some of the games that I like quite are there....
Dreamcast: Not really a great thing, but it's where I enjoyed light guns when playing "The House of the Dead".
So, basically, I don't hate it.

The Dreamcast only had House of the Dead 2. =P The original was on the Sega Saturn, it's actually the rarest North American Sega Saturn title.

I've never liked Sega to be honest ..I mean what's so special about a hedgehog that can run really fast? Sonic games have this one-trick pony feel about this. At least Mario games have different power-ups to play with

At least Mario games have different power-ups to play with There's more than just Sonic's running stages, y'know. Sure, they're the main focus, but there are also a few different types of gameplay in each game.

I have admit, at some point I liked Sonic more than Mario... but Mario is still the top guy.

Sonic does to have power ups. Super Sonic It's more than a fast running hedgehog, it's a very well-made platformer. But none of them come close to SMB3 and Super Mario World. =D

I have only played 3 SEGA games for longer than about 5 minutes - F-Zero GX and Super Monkey 1 and 2. All are good, so, based on that, SEGA are good developers. Never been particularly fond of Sonic from what I've played - I've found you just run in a straight line and you wont do too bad. Of course, I've only played an emulated versions, and I don't like playing on emulators. But still, not a fan.
