I'd whine about Nintendo All-Stars but you're too busy with the site for that. I love the pics and the comics are pretty funny. Smithy picture kicks butt, I don't see enough art of him. Then again I never saw a render of him. D:

That's because there isn't one. No renders, hardly any fanart... just sprites. I had to make a lot of guesses

Now I have a new, working scanner again, I have started uploading a handful of sketches, all Nintendo based, to my deviantArt account. Check 'em! Fryguy64 @ deviantArtI need to upload some more stuff, maybe actually finish some artwork. But finding the time is proving tricky

Because Dry Bones is totally a Koopaling¿
Alright, alright. Seriously good work there, Fry. SERIOUSLY good work.
And on a side note, I wouldn't have made a smart-ass comment if I hadn't found that mark. Wikipedia it. I swear it's a real irony mark.
EDIT: DAMN IT! The irony mark doesn't show on Proboards. All it does is show that inverted question mark. The actual irony mark is just a question mark, but backwards.

My original plan was to arrange them in game order, but while I had quite a full SMB2 and SMW roster, the Koopa Kids and Dry Bones were the only ones that debuted in SMB3. As such they had to be grouped together.
I was going to mark it as "SUPER BONUS DRY BONES!" but ran out of room.

Heh. Now that's interesting. I'd mention, for example, Chain Chomp and Boom Boom, but somehow I get the feeling you had no intention of drawing those guys.

Actually, I had a VERY sketchy Boom Boom, plus a pretty awesome Spike that I found a couple days after posting these, so I could have expanded it. Also, don't forget the Lava Lotus, Rocky Wrench and the myriad of other cool enemies that arrived in SMB3!
Oh well, they're only sketches! It's not like they're the last things I'll ever draw. It would be quite cool if I finished some of these sometime. I sketch way too small though, which pretty much restricts me to "inking" digitally, which is a slow process. It's a bad habit.
Regardless, I have some awesome plans and a whole weekend free coming up! ;D

Of course not! I was just looking to use some examples, and those were the first two to come to mind.
Bad habit, sure, but it's a fixable one. I can't draw feet, so I used to just expand the legs beyond the page, but that looked like crap. I eventually just started making them rudimentary and am starting to get a little better at it. With practice comes change, that's how it rolls. Besides, it doesn't seem like they're too small. I may be wrong, though.

Holy crap! 2009 since my last update? Time to rectify that with a piece I finished yesterday: 3DS Ambassadors10 NES games released for the 3DS in one pic.
