Link's been hanging around in dungeons too much. He really needs some sun.  Not sure the colour ref I used for him was quite right... Oh well! If I fix the colours up I'll fix him too! The Ice Climber redesigns are one of the things I've been doing on and off for a while. I like big nose Topi ;D |

Let's see... Goemon and Ebimaru are unique choices for a cult series. The Goemon Impact is iconic at this point, so why not? Castlevania is tougher, since there are so many. Simon, Dracula, Death and Trevor could all easily fall into a Nintendo All-Stars in general, so they are good, if not obvious, choices. Alucard is iconic for Symponey of the Night, so for a Konami retrospective, he's a good choice too. I can't frankly choose for Metal Gear. They are all great, iconic characters. Snake, Big Boss and Grey Fox are at the top of the pile, if I had to choose, though. Contra characters are a bit tougher. Probetector right out of the gate, since you're European and its a unique bit of history. Lance and Bean are pretty well known in and of themselves, to their a good choice too. Hard Corps, less so. It's not an especially well known game, though it totally should be. Twin Bee and Sparkster fall under the cult favorites heading. Twin Bee would be a good choice, though. Sparkster and Axel Grease would make an easy dual drawing. Silent Hill is a series I love, so it's a bit tough to choose for me. If I had too, Heather is at the top of the protagonist list for me- I love 3. The Nurses are the most icnoic part of the series, right next to Pyramid Head. Heck, P. Head has been in Konami sports games! From the other series, the shmups characters are good choices. Konami is still pretty known for their shmups, after all. Jehuty is a nice choice with an upcoming game, and Bayou Billy was in freakin' Captain N. That's got to count for something. Bomberman should go without saying, as does Master Higgins. They are the Hudson side of Konami, and represent it fine. Bonk does to a lesser extent- if Mario and Sonic were the Coke and Pepsi of the 32-bit era, he was the 7-up. I didn't expect to write that much.  Hope it ain't too much. |

Did you look at the actual gallery of finished drawings? I've already drawn quite a few of your suggestions I have another one lined up to do, but your suggestions are good. I would do Pyramid Head, but I'm going to save up the villains methinks. Especially when I'm still undecided on Nintober. |

It's the reason I follow you on twitter now! ( that and read your grumpy ramblings) Good stuff. For Rakuga Kids though I'd go with Bear Tank. Just because it's a super obscure game, yet he cameo'd in 4 other Konami games for some reason. Also he's awesome. I mean look at him.  |

Most characters I wanted are there in that Konami All Star-list (Including Hudsons). May I ask for Madoka though (From both Twinbee and Otomedius), Seppukumaru (From Goemon 4 SNES) and Yuna (from Galaxy Fraulein Yuna)?

I actually wanted to stick to drawing one character per series really. Mainly because even doing that looks like it will never end! I may just do Gillian Seed, Pentarou and Jonathan Ingram before moving on to another company now...
