It's great! You may talk down about your drawings, but in all honesty, there great, and I agree with Wildcat, definite improvement.

I'm glad you like it, especially since you're the one I drew it for! I guess it's not bad considering that my main reference for the character was your avatar. I seem to dislike my drawings the most immediately after I draw them. They start to look better a day or so later. Go figure.

Now I should faint because you drew it just for me? ;D
Yeah, that kinda stuff happens to me, except the other way around, as in I think something I made is good, but later I realize how stupid it is.
EDIT: may have been a little unclear their.

Remember when I said I couldn't draw Link? Well, I guess I can kind of draw Toon Link. But what I wanted to draw was Fox McCloud. I used to be able to draw him pretty well, but I couldn't get it to look right at all. Not even close. And that made me grumpy. And when I feel grumpy, Toon Link feels grumpy. I referenced some official art from the Wind Waker manual for this drawing.

I can never seem to get Fox right myself. So you're not alone.

Fox's name appeared and I felt compelled to comment. He is difficult to draw so I don't really attempt, although I should be trying because thats how you get better at art. Expect a bin full of crumpled paper before you get what you want. I get through about 3 trees a week Noticed some colours in your art now Nester!

What bugs me, however, is that I used to know how to draw Fox, and I seem to have lost my knack. (That's what I get for not practicing.) We'll see if can get my act together by next week. Noticed some colours in your art now Nester! When I draw something that I feel is overly simple, I attempt to compensate for it by adding color. But in Toon Link's case, I just thought I could get away with a simple, flat coloring job, because he sort of looks like that anyway. I actually prefer pictures in color. I just don't really know how to do it properly. Should I try to color all of my drawings from now on?

^ It takes a little extra time but I find it more rewarding and gives more depth to art. I say this hypocritically, knowing full well that my first submissions on the board were simple line drawings Although since then I have posted coloured work and coloured old drawings. What a pain though! ^_^

Apologies to Kohta for not having a Fox pic this week. I didn't have much time to practice. This was a last minute drawing, and I think it shows. But I've dedicated myself to doing one per week, and I'm going to stick with it. This is a Hammer Bro wearing hammer pants and making an old joke. This happens to be my 10th drawing in this fan art series. I'm happy that I've been able to get this far.

Actually, now that I've done 10 fan arts, I was wondering if it would be worth setting up a DeviantArt account. What are you guys' opinions? Would there be any benefit to it?

Certainly Nester! I think I had less than 5 deviations when I first started. It's worth having even if just for the art community.
