I remember hearing that Nomura was going to explain why they had 14 members, but were still called Organization XIII. So he made up an excuse already... ;D I really like the look of the battle system and that Square are utilizing the DS 3D capabilities. KH games are quite famous for the over the top attacks and spells, maybe there will be some lag during heated battles? Any word on online /wi-fi modes?

Well, here's the Nomura interview. He mentions multiplayer, but nothing about Wi-Fi... [/b] TN: The part of his birth will be started as the Prologue, however the game really s tarts from when he enters Organization XIII. Will this game have an already predicted ending, that Crisis Core had?TN: Where do you think the end is? The point is, How did it get to where it end, for Roxas to leave the Organization? The detail of that will be in this game. (Basically, we may already know the end, we just don't know how it got to that point, like Crisis Core) Does the progress of the story mean going through Disney Worlds, just like previous Kingdom Hearts games?TN: It's not entirely a story that progresses by going to other worlds, but stories will be progressing. Is the 14th member a new character of the KH Series? It appears as though the character is...a woman?TN: I should bring it up now, that the XIV member is not Namine, since some people believed it to be Namine by seeing the trailer. However it will be explained as to why there's no pillar for this character, as well as why she never appeared in Kingdom Hearts 2. In the trailer we see 4 different playable characters simultaneously, is this possible?TN: The Multiplayer can be done with 4 people, or less. Not only is it a feeling of Multiplayer, it gives a feeling of freedom as well, because multiplayer mode will have no relation to the story of the game. But it is possible to choose less then four, for the multiplayer content. What is the progression of Mutliplayer.TN: The point is to basically beat, a given Mission. For instance defeating an enemy or whatever the aim of the goal is. Various purposes range from small reasons, to big reasons. There is a strong competing feeling for Mutliplayer so sometimes the players may forget what the point of the goal is. Is multiplayer mode possible for one player only?TN: This volume with Multiplayer mode, was rather messy, so we had to design a growth Leveling up system. For example, when Axel is used in Multiplayer mode, Roxas will gain some extra experience from this. Also you are able to customize your character freely. (He didn't go into detail about the Customization part, so it's unsure)[/i][/ul]

Wonderland? I never liked that place! Ah well... Yes im getting excited about all the new kingdom hearts games. Fangirl alert! Organisation 13 has 14 members? I'm sure Nomura is making this up as he goes along! To hell with planning. Not just this though, the whole KH2 thing was insane. Good insane... Indeed. I remember hearing that Nomura was going to explain why they had 14 members, but were still called Organization XIII. Or a more fun thing to do is just make up your own reasons why. I'm never played KH, so something here is bound to be wrong. Reasons why they could be called Organization XIII. (This is just a joke, don't take it seriously). - The person who created Organization XIII counted up all the members and forgot to count himself. - They were all being emo or something and forgot to go to math class and learn about extremely important Roman numerals. ( "We don't need to learn Roman numerals, we'll never going to Italy!") The group thought XIII was 14 in Roman numerals. - There was a guy on the team they really didn't like and they just didn't count him. - Dyesxia. It would be pretty sad if that was the case. - They branded all their outfits, coffee mugs, towels, modes of transport and other items with XIII before realising it was 13 instead of 14. They couldn't be bothered changing it. - It's way easier to spell 13 than 14 in Roman numerals. - A number was just picked at random by the group. - 13 is a lot scaryier than 14. (Organization XIV members: Beware the power of Organization XIV!" Onlookers: "Huh?" ) - If there is a female member(s), someone knocked her up and the resulting baby got automatic membership. (This could also have some connection to the PSP game title "Birth by Sleep"). - Organization XIV was copyrighted/trademarked and they couldn't use it. (Trademark person: "Sorry, Organization XIV has already been trademarked but there's Organization XIII if you want that." Member of Organization XIII: I'll take it!- If Organization XIII was in real life and they showed up right in front of you, would you even notice (or even bother counting) if they have 14 members? - One of them was really ill and they thought that he/she would most likely die and they then called themselves Organization XIII but he/she recovered and joined the group again.

So anyone get this game yet? I was gonna pick it up, but I seem to be running out of money at a quick pace. It got good reviews so if you're a fan of Kingdom Hearts, you should definitely try it out.

If I didn't have three big titles on the horizon that I planned to pick up...I'd consider it. Again, not a big fan of the Organizmismauition, and the 14th member strikes me as a mary-sue, without knowing much about her (she's a Nobody of Kairi, she's the number exceeding 13, nobody knew about her until this game, etc etc).
Am I the only one who doesn't understand why the English translation retained the Super Japanese title. I can't even start to pronounce 358/2 Days. I just call it Kingdom Hearts Fraction at this point XD Just sayin'.

But if you're serious about the female clone of Sora thing, that doesn't work in her favor. XD At least she has a tolerable name. I still hate "Xibgar." XD

Well, Xigbar is at least better than his real name (Braig). Hmm...which makes me think that Xion's real name is "Oni". Lawl, nvm!!!1! It's an anagram of "No I."

So, I bought this game a couple days ago, and I love it.
I love it so much.
This game is better than anything currently on or ever to be released on the DS.

To be honest, I've never been able to get into Kingdom Hearts as a series, and even now I do not have any intention of picking it up. The entire Kingdom Hearts series feels wrong to me on so many levels. As you may have gathered, I'm not Disney's greatest fan, but I still feel that Disney should be left to Disney.
I also despise the name. "358/2 Days" is borderline unreadable to me. Why not "179 Days?" Or "358 Half Days?" Or something else that doesn't sound like someone was trying to make the most annoying grammatical equation in the history of ever? Just my opinion, of course.

Its not a fraction, for one- its a quatiant. Hence why its pronounced 358 Over 2 Days. I'm not sure why the name is that, but I'm sure there is a reason- there are several ways I can think of for it.
EDIT: Motherschtupper. I didn't see the 179 Days quip- you already knew that.

Like I said before, that name is incredibly Japanese for an American title and nigh unpronouncable to the point of being obnoxious (which is about what you can expect from Squeenix XD). Thus, "Kingdom Hearts Fraction" for me, not seventysevensevenass over sevensevenseveneleven days. Because the numbers seven and eleven are fucking obnoxious numbers, just like the game's title. XD
NOTE: this is not a dig at the game's quality. I just fucking hate it's name. XD

Those numbers worked for slushies. OH YEAH I WENT THERE.
The biggest thing I don't like about Kingdom Hearts is probably the thing most people question me about, actually: It's how the whole "Heartless" concept panned out. I actually DO like the concept: Normal people have their souls removed and are cursed to walk the earth, attempting to get a new soul by robbing someone else. It's just how it panned out into a "break the character in two and have the soulless version be an emofied version of the character" that bugs me. That and the fact that, as I said, it didn't leave Disney to Disney. It's Disney2. OH YEAH I WENT THERE. Anyways, if Square would ease up a bit and do KH more like they did SMRPG, I'd be more apt to buy into it, because it'd feel like they had retained the spirit of Disney. But it ended up, at least to me, feeling like they had made another Final Fantasy, which is fine, but I don't know many Disney movies that follow the Final Fantasy progression. In fact, to my knowledge, there isn't one.
