Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days

Well, there are three new Kingdom Hearts games coming out. One for PSP (Birth by Sleep), one for mobile phones (Coded), and one for DS called 358/2 Days (yeah, I know, the name sounds dumb, but Nomura states it will be released first).

In this game, it says that it focuses on Organization XIII, and I think you can play as all the members...

That means (at least for me) Avoid at all costs, the Organization sits at the core of what I don´t like in KH games.

Loved KH 1 and 2, but I didn't own a PS2, so I couldn't play much, so I'm definitly getting it!

There is multiplayer, and in there, you can play as all members of Organization XIII. The main story of this game is what happened to Roxas while Sora was asleep for three years.

Roxas and Axel were watching the sunset from their usual spot on the station's clock tower after a long day of collecting "hearts" from the Heartless, as ordered by their organization. When their daily work ended, they often spent their evenings there. They talked about the day's work and other things over ice cream.

"Do you know why the sun looks red as it sinks below the horizon? It's because among the countless colors comprising light, red travels the greatest distance."

"You're just trying to show off, Axel!"

This game looks beautiful for a DS game. Also, nice to see Wonderland back and retaining all its glory. Who cares if the game centers around Organization XIII. This game looks amazingly fun.

Apparently, the game works as a buddy system. You get lots of different party members (most including Organization members and various other characters like Mickey Mouse) that you can switch to at will and play as. Your other party members will continue fighting until you switch into them to play as. Each character has different weapons and attacks, and if you've played KHII, you probably know what they are.

Not a huge fan of the Organization to be honest. I dig Axel and Larxene is a hotty, but the rest are all pretty bland--or try too hard to be stylish and fail. And Xibgar is a dumb name X(

Still, I'd like to see some Tron loving for this. I'd give the game a shot if it meant I could return to Space Paranoids~ And I kind of ship Axel x Roxas, so I look forward to seeing how the two interact for the game. Probably something I'll ask one of my friends at GameStop to check out so I can play it without putting a monetary investment into it right away.

What's with Nomura? He's still messing with Disney? He's already gone and destroyed their elements with the blatantly boring and crappy FF series. What more does he want?

Lots of new info.

- The 14th member is not revealed yet.
- Roxas' gameplay in single player mode has been changed slightly to give a more Kingdom Hearts feel.
- Roxas' must collect hearts everyday, in Organization XIII Saix tells Roxas to be more careful next time.
- The game will be moving throughout from Kingdom Hearts 1 - Kingdom Hearts 2.
- Items obtained in Single Player Mode, can be used in Multiplayer Mode. Also the screen below is mostly used to display the map and target, however it is not complete.
- The new gauge LP Mode has not been fully revealed, but is hinted to be used for powerful techniques.
- In single player mode the arrow is under the right corner of the screen, when in multi player it's under the left. They didn't say if this mysterious arrow (Not the arrow showing where your character is) can be used by the touchpad or not.
- There is a type of missions called "Hologram Missions" that can be used in single and multiplayer mode. These missions are not part of the main storyline at all. This is also how the Organization members trained.
- When doing missions you'll be graded with either a "G" or a "N" The "G" means you did good, and your chair will begin to rotate and rise. If you get an "N" the chair will begin to descend, as you either swayed away from your mission or did a bad job.
- The ability of Dodge roll gives more of a KH1 feel then it does KH2FM+
- Some returning enemies from KH1 will be back, however they have been revamped and there are a few other surprises in the game.
- This game is considered to be a mix of the normal Kingdom Hearts feel, as well as a dark feel to it.
- The Organization character's personalities will be fully revealed in this game, this way you can follow the cutscenes better, and the conversations between them can become more interesting.
- This game features an interesting twist in the battle system where you can chain your attacks together! You can attack, use dodgerolling, glide and more into just a single combination!
- The actions and defenses of each Organization member is new, and they all have their own special ability! Xigbar was able to use stronger attacks for a short while.

I seriously can't wait. I'm also getting Birth by Sleep for my PSP (yeah, I have one) when it comes out. It looks amazing as well.

I remember hearing that Nomura was going to explain why they had 14 members, but were still called Organization XIII.
