*rubs sinuses* Wow, this just made this massive headache I've been having worse.
Yeah, it's a JSR level--Shibuya Terminal out of JSRF, particularly, judging by the Rokkaku Group fist logo in the background (top picture, a white hexagon with a red fist inside, the side of the fist making up the letter "G". Between the light post and the downward staircase touching the ground). That logo wasn't used in Jet Grind Radio; the Rokkaku Group had a different symbol there, a hexagon with lines inside made to look like a cube. JSRF uses the fist logo as well as the hexagon/cube.
The translation is not entirely perfect--it's sort of like Brinstar in SSB and Melee, where the levels are made to remind you of the areas they're based on. There's no section in Shibuya Terminal that looks like that precisely, although the area does have elevated walkways and aluminum bus awnings. (Jet Grind Radio had a similar area that was much smaller in scale, but again, the fist logo places this in JSRF.) Still, no walkways loaded with speakers, and definitely no tennis courts. But I gotta admit, it looks good for a handheld.
Fuck you, Sega. Gimme my new JSR game now. -_- Don't jerk me around like this.

This is pretty cool... kinda makes me wish Nintendo is making Nintendo Superstars Tennis. But this will do! Hope they got Ecco, Ristar, Gilius Thunderhead, Alex Kidd, ToeJam & Earl. But I doubt they wil be playable seeing most of the confirmed characters are Sonic characters anyway. |

This game needs Gilius Thunderhead from Golden Axe ;D, good concept Sega, please dont ruin it tuirning it into Sonic characters tennis plus a few
Seriously, why go so far as to include guys like Shadow, Big, Blaze or Headfungus? Hell, even Knuckles and Tails are kinda pushing it. Sonic and Eggman should really have been the limit. |

You notice how Silver has sort of an upwards Davey Jones tentacle beard on his forehead, looks kinda like a fungal growth? Yeah. ;D
IMO, "Headfungus" is an indefinitely more original name than "Silver."
