I'll bet the super secret character is the car from Daytona USA. ...It worked for Fighters Megamix. (Check out this video at about 1:20.) Then again, that looks kinda weird.

I want Ristar and Vectorman in this. Otherwise it looks sweet.
That's all I'll say.

Gum is in now, too...? I'd need photographic proof before I could commit to that, but that'd be wicked.
Okay, SEGA, you've mocked me enough. New JSR game nao plz. Well TEi, the video DiU posted shows Beat in action... j94tuptu53t35yt5.
;___;
Talk about unfair. That was awesome, and it's very much so not a true JSR game.
A real kick to the nards - that's what this is. I ain't been waiting nigh on six years for a new JSR game only to get scraps in the form of a tennis game.
A tennis game which has Shadow as a playable character, no less. Blegh. X(

They should also feature the Bonanza Bros. in Sega Superstar Tennis. They'd be an interesting addition.

I thought I'd bump this up because I just found some cameos we hadn't even thought about. The game is released on the Xbox 360 which means Xbox Live Achievements. Some of those achievements may sound familiar.
*After Burner *Dragon Slayer *Magical Sound Shower(A song from Outrun) *Outrun *Puyo Puyo! *SEGA Rally *Space Channel 5 *Super Sonic *To be this good takes AGES (A take on the SEGA AGES series) *Top Gun(A Konami game?!)

*To be this good takes AGES (A take on the SEGA AGES series) Actually, that was a very old Sega marketing slogan. Ages is Sega spelled backwards, you see.

16 playable characters and 5 are Sonic ones? Hey SEGA, you're doing it wrong.
But the two secret characters from the two secret franchises? You got that part spot on.

*sigh* No Skies love, eh, Sega? Well...I'd kind of prefer not seeing Vyse with a tennis racket, so I suppose it's all good.

I could think of a bunch of characters they could've included.

16 playable characters and 5 are Sonic ones? Hey SEGA, you're doing it wrong. Makes sense to me. It's the only one of those franchises that actually makes money. XD I sure wish there was some love for Toejam & Earl, Shenmue and Phantasy Star in there, though. I mean, I can understand Super Monkey Ball getting two characters, since it actually is popular, but the other franchises could've got by with one to fit in more star characters. Really, who cares about Pudding?

I'll defend Pudding only because Space Channel 5 is along the same lines as Jet Set Radio insofar as style and storytelling go.
Btw, I have the game and the sheer level of JSR content is brilliant. I've already unlocked the secret character for the franchise - oddly enough both are faster than Sonic is. ;D I haven't gotten to play much else aside from the Jet Set and Space Channel 5 minigames, though, so I don't have much else to say yet.
...which reminds me, I have SC5 and SC5 2 on the PS2. I should play them XD

I saw an advert on TV for this yesterday. Is it basically Mario Tennis with Sega characters - coz that was the impression I got.

It's something of a mix of Mario Tennis and Virtua Tennis. So basically, it has all the fun cartoony elements of Mario Tennis, along with the realism of Virtua Tennis. Collect Rings missions are haaard.
