WHAT!? Someone posted it before me? Never mind.
Chip helps sonic throughout the game, and he is actually a chao. I know it's hard to believe, but he is a furry chao with actual facial expressions, more flexible limbs, and sonic-esque eyes. Either a cross breed or a mutation. And I can't find his pom-pom.

I knew it was only a matter of time before a new random 'ally' would be introduced. I actually thought it was some kinda bat.
Though the movie looks nice, graphical-wise.

What is he? Many sources have told me he is a chao.
And I always thought the only good thing about sonic unleashed was that it was cartoony.

The only reference that's been made to his species is that he's "not a dog", as he says in the promo manga. But him being a Chao is rubbish, the only Chao-like trait he has are wings. And even those are wrong. XD

Before I heard he was a chao, I always thought he was a bat, related to rouge.
And I think Sonic Unleashed is taking a bit from MMX8, they removed the new fromula of te old 3D games and went back to the old.

They went back to nothing. If this were the old formula Sonic would actually be able to Spin Dash, not use Rings for extra boost power or drift around corners or turn into a goddamn Werehog. If you believe otherwise you're a fucking tool.

I didn't say any of the the things I mentioned were bad, I was just pointing out that the game is most certainly not a "return to roots". The director even said he had no intention of doing that on the developer blog (it's on IGN somewhere. You can look for it). I have yet to see Sonic do anything resembling a Spin Dash in the Ecksbocks Threestickstee version of the game. I do like how Dimps remembered to implement it in the Wee version, though. (lame mispelling jokes ) |
