You mean like in STH2?
I think it should be like the old ones, only secret bosses in super, or kill last boss in super and move on to secret boss without super form like STH2.

Why not fight something smaller? That's different. Instead of an enormous final boss, you fight a foe of moderate size but with super natural power.

How about not and say we did?  How about we fight something that's his size, and DOES NOT have super powers? I seriously think that would make for a super hard fight. |

Third actually. Chaos Solaris And this one. Solaris was only ten years old. That's less ancient than the Biolizard. And I wouldn't really count Devil Doom or Metal Overlord, since they were just "super" forms of the respective games' villains. They were no different from an Eggman mech, in that sense. Hell, one of them was an Eggman mech! Though to be fair, every single console Sonic game since SA1 ended with a battle against a giant monster while in Super mode. Every single one. To say that battling Eggman machines is done to death is a bit of an overstatement considering the circumstances here. That's still less than half of the games released in that time, though. All of the handheld games (as well as Sonic Heroes and Sonic Riders 2, technically) have ended with an Eggman robot battle. Even if said robot wasn't under Eggman's control at the time. I think removing the traditional Super fight would only disappoint people. Thing is, gameplay-wise, these monster fights have all been pretty unique anyway. That was kind of my original point - Sonic fans don't complain about a lack of originality, the fans are always wanting less originality. There really isn't a more batshit insane fanbase in the world. |

Using science to render Sonic into a normal hedgehog and then throw him into a microwave or something. Truly a boss fight to remember. |

I think a large percentage consist of mindless circle jerkers who only regurgitate what they hear from other people. Some of them may also be the furfags who live on DeviantART and only care about which character(s) Sonic or Shadow is having sex with.
A smaller percentage consist of jaded old coots like me who post on message boards like The GHZ. We're the ones who want Sega to stop running certain concepts into the ground while at the same time actually putting some effort into their recent outings.
