What I'd want for an Adventure mode is various paths, bosses, secret stages, minigames... The works. I want a freakin' map that I can walk around a la Mario 3, and pick my path around a big ol' world of Nintendo. I can see the first stage being a typical Mario 1 era stage, and after that you can make the choice of heading south to a DK Jungle stage, or heading north to Diamond City for a Wario stage, and if you beat the Mario stage super fast you can go straight on to the Kirby stage and bypass the few between that and Mario. And there could be Race to the Finish, Board the Platform, Target Test, Snag the Trophies, Kill the Ducks, etc. etc. stages littered throughout. I would totally love it.
As for Miis, they have to have to have to be the Fighting Polygon Team of this game. It just exudes a Nintendo maneuver.

I dream of a more involved Adventure Mode (so long as they keep Classic Mode as well). The platforming mechanics in the SSB games are really quite good, and it's a shame not seeing them put to good use in a platform game!

A few more nifty ideas:
Enhanced training mode, where you can actually train in a special room where you alter ALL the settings (size, gravity, status, items, damage, etc.)
Character intros (duh)
Character ending movies. While I liked the funny screens and gameplay vids at the end of Melee, and I loved the cartoon drawings at the end of 64, I really would appreciate a quick FMV for each character just... showing them going home or something. It's just a nice, quality touch if you can beat Master Hand with Yoshi, and then watch a quick movie of him returning the Yoshi's Island and, I dunno, eating all the food Master Hand stole. Give the character's reasons to fight!
More music tracks than stages, and, preferably, more than two per stage. The music revealed thus far is amazing. Why not let us use it more often, when we want? It wouldn't make sense to listen to that OoT Medley on a Mario stage, but why limit it to only one Zelda stage? Let me use it for ANY Zelda stage. Likewise, rather than one song per stage with the occasional alternate track for a few random stages, let's have a few songs per franchise, that get dispersed to the stages and then some kept aside for alternate selection. I want to really feel like I'm customizing my gameplay.

Fryguy:I don't think the mode was bad, but it could always use more. I wouldn't mind if they kept it similar and just added more levels and what to it.
Fliptroppa:I like the FMX thing. It might be possible with this system
Also, I'd like to have more videos in the srchive. Like, the main into as well, or even access the credits.

Hehe, I'm expecting more than one song per stage, too.
How about mutiplayer Event Matches? Imagine Fox & Falco together fighting other two characters, or even a Brawl version of a Double Battle between Pokémon.

How did I not see this before I posted... must have been on another page. But that's so awesome. Startropics would be a good place. I actually recall hearing some recognition of it at the Nintendo World Store where they have a remix CD of Nintendo music... the overworld theme was played for a while, among Zelda II dungeon and the main theme of SMRPG.

It provides no more than a taster of a larger adventure, and we have so far not been provided with that larger adventure. So I'm hoping Brawl brings it awn! So to speak... ;D

Talking about music what about having something like musical trophy's that could be like famous music/songs/tunes from past Nintendo games like Saria's song and a recording for you to hear and information about the music and what it did in the game. All this music could say be kept inside a jukebox or some music player, that could be displayed as being in the same room with the table with the trophy's on it. If that room from SSBM does make it into SSBB.
The only problem with this is the fact the jukebox could sound to similar to the Sound Test and also the fact you might not have enough music for it to use.
Also like everyone else is saying the Adventure mode really does need some more levels and things to do in it.
The Classic mode was alright the only thing I missed from SSB to SSBM was on the levels (in SSB) where you fought Mario and Luigi and also the 3 vs 1 Giant DK fight were the point bonuses like "good friend" and I think a different one for the Giant DK fight that you got if you lost none of your CPU ally's during the fight.
How did everyone feel about the All-Star mode? Did you like it or not? I thought it was a good addition, the thing that could get changed to it may be the fact that there could be more character to fight against in SSBB.
Also SSBB needs a good online mode, possibly with voice chat and Wiiconnect24 so the game can new characters, stages, items, trophy's, music, modes and any patches/bug fixer if they do happen. Downloads could simply feature old Nintendo franchises or they could feature new frachises (and also serve as advertising for them). Just imagine the announment of a new Nintendo franchise and getting like items and trophy's related to them or something like new generation Pokemon added to the Poke Ball. There are a lot of possibilities for this.

As for online they did say they would impiment it in some way. I hope they do add 24Connect so they can keep thos "pros" underraps. Removing glitches and balanceing out characters as needed(but most I found were fine as is anms I could play them all).

They do really need to tone down Wavedashing and Shuffling or remove it all together. It was a nice cpncept to have secret hard to do techniques but it got out of hand with people OH NOES U CAN'T DO TEH WAVEDASH U IS TEH OOBER N00B.

What I want more than anything right now is a Count Bleck theme remix in there somewhere. Part of a Paper Mario medley or something would be more than enough. That tune is so damn catchy...!
And on that note, a stage based on Paper Mario! The franchise is easily as recognizable to the gaming community as Mario Kart and deserves a little Smash Candy, I think. Maybe an area based on SPM that flips on occasion, changing the layout of the course just enough to throw the players off; Rogueport would also be a nice one to try, I think, with X-nauts and Krump running past on occasion to terrorize players.

Those are actually pretty awesome! Quite a talent that fella has ;D
Discussions for characters goes go in the characters thread. Personally, I think Zoda is about as likely to be in the game as, King Dom from Gumshoe - 0%. Unknown to Japan, and a newer, more frequently used character with the same name from the F-Zero series?
