^ Wow Link is ... yeah. Anyway how about DK Bongo Compadibilty for SSBB. Yeah, nothing screams "what an awesome game!" like not being able to control your characters properly and making your hands too sore to play an additional round. :D Next idea, please! It might accually work pretty well if you think about it. DK Bongo Button Layout: GCN-BasedA: Right B: Left A+B: Down Clap: Jump X: Regular Attacks Y: Smash Attacks X+Y: Up A+B+X+Y: Final Smash

I always figured that the Pokemon said their names in the anime because they didn't want it to sound really crappy having them come out and make their digitized noises on a television show. And Smash keeps with that tradition because that's how people usually recognize the monsters anyways.
The cries they make are more natural tho, and I'd rather say those are their actual noises they make rather than saying their names. A Miltank running around saying "Miru miru!" just doesn't seem as cool to me as it just mooing, I'm sorry. I much prefer to imagine Pokemon as biological oddities from the living world as opposed to mythical creatures and monsters you can train.
And just to add in something else I wanted to talk about, what kinda music do you guys want in the game? I know it's been discussed earlier, but with that new "Super Metroid--Boss Battle" track... man. They could go anywhere now.
I vote for LttP's Dark World, Yogurt Yard from Kirby's Adventure, Halfmoon from Kirby Superstar, Coo's Theme from Kirby's Dreamland 2, Athletic from Mario 3, Athletic from Yoshi's Island, and Aquatic Ambience from DKC. For Pit, he needs either the Underworld theme or Main Theme from Kid Icarus. I guess the Sky Palace music could work too.

With the latest entries in the music (and with the sheer number of music composers announced) I am hoping for: 1. Main stage music 2. Alternate stage music (for most, if not all stages) 3. Victory music 4. Boss battle music (yeah, bring on the custom boss battles, plus make the bosses unlockable!) 5. Ending music (for the credits)
Every series will be able to fulfill all of the above. Plus, it would mean enough added features to totally blow me away in the same way Melee did following SSB.
I mean, imagine this:
Mario series Main music: Mario theme Alternate: SMB3 athletic Victory: SMB flagpole Boss: SMB3 Bowser battle Ending: While I'd love the DK94 theme, SM64 seems more likely
Zelda series Main music: Hyrule overworld (Zelda theme) Alternate: Remix of any other Zelda music Victory: Usual SSB/M affair Boss: LoZ dungeon theme Ending: LttP ending theme
And so on and so on. It would be AWESOME! Especially if it meant every character had a custom single-player boss battle (with unlockable boss).

There is no way we're having, saying, the Ridley Theme and no Brinstar. Y'know? So right there we have two confirmed Metroid tracks, and I really doubt there wouldn't be a third after those.

That Star Tropics course looks cool. I'm seen a sketch a guy did on Nintendo.com's SSBB forums that was some place from Star Tropics called (I think) Captain Bells Cave which had traps like rolling boulders (switch activated) and the Sub-C did the rising/lowering platform thing as well

I want the credits music for Mario to be Dire Dire Docks. Like the Star Tropics Level BTW.

SM64's Jolly Roger Bay/Dire Dire Docks music needs more credit, so I'd like to see that in Brawl too. Or at least the Bob-Omb Battlefield music. Catchy tune, that.

Orange Ocean stage with Halberd to have the theme music of when the ship's going down. There's a remix on VGMusic somewhere that would just fit in perfectly.
For an adventure mode, you should fight Meta Knight on the Halberd after going through a small portion of it based on KSS like how Mushroom Kingdom was done, and you fight a Team Kirby along the way. Also getting the communications text between Meta's crew, including the classic Captain and Waddle Dee sailor. Love them.
Animal Crossing stage with villagers or town icons running amok... hills and trees as platforms. Be based off Gamecube one and perhaps during a certain time of year the environment would change (winter you'd have snow and Jingle would show up in the sky on a sleigh or something).
Miis should be in.. not as fighters per say but as maybe a trophy if trophies return or an icon for online play.
