From the first Donkey Konga, I enjoyed the ones that are meant to be played with bongos... You know, "Oye Cómo Va" and "Para Los Rumberos".
I wonder how good would be (for Nintendo) to make the list of songs expandible.

Each country had different songs? Now that is cool.

Each region had different songs. Though there are quite a few songs that appear in both versions (mostly in the North American and European releases).

Aw geez Fryguy that hurts, I just joined DK Vine recently. They make good points here as Jungle Beat raped the series and Paon's keeping it alive so therefore no reason to close it. DKVine shouldn't be mad at this update at all! If I recall, this was an attack of Donkey Kongs in DK 64. You had to press C-up I believe. Yeah, it is. The fact they're using the friggin peripheral bothers me though. Make the DK Bongos an item and DK's attack actual bongos. That's more sensible. But seriously, I only think he should have made it plain bongos, I love this otherwise. It's DKU because it's the same Tricky. All connected. You don't have to believe it but it's reasonable.

Hello. I'm the Devil's Advocate. Yeah, it is. The fact they're using the friggin peripheral bothers me though. Make the DK Bongos an item and DK's attack actual bongos. That's more sensible. My problem is, does it matter? I'll be honest, the bonos have ment more to DK then anything else in the franchise save for Barrles and Bananas. The Bomgos were made for DK, not the other way aroound. Is it a probobly he uses HIS periferal. I mean, no other franchise used it. It's not the same tricky. They NEVER siad it was. DKUeers just forget the fact that there can be two of them. There is no connection, expecially as neither game shares locals nor evwen look remotly the same. One is Timbers Island. The other is an entire planet. They are not the same. God forbid that developers put a reference to another game in the current one. Now you'll tell me Mario and Zelda are part of the same universe becuase there is a Mario picture in Link ot the Past, so Mario and Samus are connected due to the SDamus doll in Mario RPG.

Not really, the DK with the tie and the DKC music is an entirely different DK, he uses a certain jump and somersaults. He didn't play the bongos until DK64. But it's not even DKU related, I just hate the idea he's using a peripheral.
The fact you pick at Star Fox is sad, they rarely cover that except on a section of the forum. You have nothing else to point at so you pick at that. Paon brings back parts of the Rare Donkey Kong games that made fans happy. DKU people get happy. They like more, Jungle Climber is so much like a DKC4 that I'm pretty sure it's hard to say they entirely hate current DK.
I'm glad Rumble Falls isn't too crazy and isn't that bad. So far saw very little Jungle Beat, which honestly was too wacky for me and... Donkey Kong with all his teeth and gums showing looks disturbing. That perhaps is why I hate Jungle Beat. Absolutely nothing like DKC.

Absolutely nothing like DKC. I'll be honest, in those first twio paragraphs you made little to no sence. The reason I pick at Starfox was the fact it shouldn't even be on the site at all. It's stupid to think that it's all one big universe and is somehow connected. I find it dumb that they don't understand that not everything is canon, and some stuff is ment to be outside the game, or a reference to another game. Cameos exist for a reason. The problem is DKU is less of a DK site and more of a Rare site. They admit they pretty much only cover Rare's DK. But, if they were a true DK site, they'd cover DK in it's entirety, including the first DK games(Donkey Kong, Jr and 3).

Aw geez Fryguy that hurts, I just joined DK Vine recently. They make good points here as Jungle Beat raped the series and Paon's keeping it alive so therefore no reason to close it. Well... UNJOIN it! Any idiot can make the odd reasonable remark. But the fact they write off the original Donkey Kong series as crap, and are completely blind to the fact that DKJB isn't supposed to be a DKC style platformer, but a genre-defying arcade-style rhythm-platformer both rile me. Their arguments are based on hate and rarely on reasons. And when they do provide reasons, they are usually flawed. Let me tell you this... Jungle Beat reinvigorated my faith in Nintendo. It's not a Rare game. Bloody big surprise there! No, it's a Nintendo game, written to Nintendo's rules. It's huge, it's beautiful, it's challenging in a whole new way. Jungle Beat is one of the best games on the Gamecube, as it really does break new ground in platform gaming. I don't expect you to agree or understand - but when you've completed entire levels without touching the ground, flinging that big ape from one side of the screen to the other with perfect timing and rhythm, then you can tell me Nintendo didn't create something beautiful. And "raping" a series doesn't mean trying something new with it, or else Paon is just as guilty with their excellent (though finger-crippling) DK:KOS/JC games. You want to talk about series-raping, take a look at Artoon and the Yoshi games. Now THAT is a felony.

Personally, I'm not entirely happy about DK's smash move. Surely they could've thought of something more DK-ish than having DK whip out a pair of bongos.

It's huge, it's beautiful, it's challenging in a whole new way. Huge and visually fantastic? Yes. Challenging? No.

And THIS is all why Nintendo is trying to reinvent Donkey Kong. So much bickering, and his sales plummet

Sorry if my language offended anyone. b***hIt's fine. Besides, it would be come wizzle. But, Rare didn't abandone Nintendo. Not at all./ Herers the story. When Nintendo bought Rare, they did a 51-49 split. Nintendo had 51% of the company, Rare, the rest. Problem with Rare is they took to long with their games, and only the DK franchise really made them money. Perfect Dark was at 4 E3s. Nintendo has only done that with Earthbound 2 and Twilight Princess. In about 1999 (or 98) people started leaving Rare. About 2000, people from Microsofft started meating the company. When the Stapler Brothers(spelling?) left, they offered Nintendo the 49% of the company. Nintendo just laughed at them. They weasted so much money, and never returned any. Sure, their games were great, but they never made much money on anything that wasn't DK. So, they gave it to Microsoft, and Nintendo sold their as well. And that is why rare belong to Microsoft. i must say, was a bad buisness venture for them. They haven't made money on them. Basically, they have the same problem as they had with Nintendo. Yeah, thats part of the problem. That backwards thinking. "Oh, we just want more Donkey Kong games". God forbid Nintendo try and breath new life into the franchise. Make something unique. And use a perfieral that was ment for a music game in a platform. The problem with DKU is they hate the games for the wrong reasons. They hate it becuase it lacks a story, or it's different. Not becuase the game plays bad. Fry hates Yoshi Island DS. Not just becuase Artoon made it (But it may have helped) but becuase the game lacked the amazing gameplay and level design that the origial had. They act like Fanboys. Right down to the core.

Viva Pinata was their last good one.
