This stage represents the Fire Emblem world.
It’s an enemy castle in the midst of battle—but it’s not set in a particular castle, nor is it from a particular game in the series. It’s taking heavy fire, huh? There are plenty of scenes like this throughout the Fire Emblem series, aren’t there? So imagine it however you choose.Fireballs launched by catapults dance in the skies above the castle. Then, as time passes...The floor shatters and everyone falls into the castle!See the stone statues in the throne room? You can break them to bits.Down it goes!Oh, but it doesn’t end here.Quick! To the underground! What’s the underground like? You can look forward to finding out later.

Don't mean to brag but... I toldja so! And I also said many moons ago that they would be part of the same Fire Emblem stage, with collapsing floors. I rule!

Why would he make it a generic castle? Why not just pick a bloody location?

ON TOPIC:
I knew this stage would be the next update. The last screenshot looks unusual.
OFF TOPIC:
FryGuy64, you thought I wasn't going to stay up late anymore, did you? Well, I mean I probably won't stay up later than 5:00 AM. And did you delete your thread about the same topic? It looks like you did.

Because all the games look pretty much the same? So as not to alienate certain FE fans?... I don't know I imagine it's so some cad doesn't go "But THAT castle didn't have underground catacombs! SOO UNRELISTC!!! NOT BUYINGF IT NOOOW!!!"

Oh, well, there is some Akaneian design in it, as there is Tellius. *Doesn't lose hope for Marth*

Its a nice looking stage and I like the how the stages changes and goes to different parts of the castle.
Did anyone notice there appear to be knights or soilders in reddish armor in the background of the Castle Throne Room/the third picture.

Oh, well, there is some Akaneian design in it, as there is Tellius. *Doesn't lose hope for Marth* Since it's a generic stage, it could fit for any FE character they could have ready behind the scenes.

It works for all FE characters. C'mon: it's hard to come up with ideas for a FE stage, give them some cred That "going underground" shot reminds me of Zelda II. Mmm... old school

About the undeground... somebody lightened up the pic and it seems to be some kind of lava cavern. So... You know... dragons are heavily related to those places. And dragons are a staple in Fire Emblem. Even more, in the famed flag you can see a black dragon, as the leader of that generic castle. So... a dragon has to be down there. And if we stretch the thing even more... Dark dragons leading armies have been seen in two games... guess which? The both Marth starred. There is ALWAYS room for especulation.

It looks like you did. Well, it was another late update, so I wasn't sure As soon as I posted I noticed you had started posting yours as well, so I copied my response across and deleted mine Hooray for Photoshop level alterations! That underground pic looks pretty cool, and I can definitely imagine some kind of dragon attack or something! Like Kraid.

Mmm, very sexy looking. Lava cavern also sounds great.
I called it, too. Finally.

Mmm... Medeus(a?) attacking would rock. I can imagine having to jump across the platforms as they sink into the lava and something while this giant dragon keeps trying to eat people.
Christ, Sakurai went all the f*** out for this game: these stages are amazing!

This is the most surprising level so far. I didn't thing the statue stage and castle stage would be the same stage and no one could've guessed there'd be an underground area too.
Dragons in the caverns sound like a cool idea. I've never played Fire Emblem, so I'll take your word for it that the games heavily involve dragons.
