Stages play a big role in Smash Bros. So I thought I would name some that I would like. Mario Series: Giant Koopa Clown Car.(like from Paper Mario 64) Zelda Series: Hyrule Temple (Twillight Princess design) Hyrule Castle Town Ice Climber Series: A stage kinda like the Ice Climber Target test in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Metroid Series: Something to do with Ridley. That's all I can think of. Be free to write stage ideas!

I would want something from Sonic 3 & Knuckles if Sonic is in. Not sure what, but Flying Batterie for it's awesome music. Allso, Bowser's Castle would be cool.

I think Dreamland would we awesome from the Kirby games. You're fighting on clouds and everything...and then an effect would be stars falling and you could get hit or something.

Somebody in the music thread suggested Bubbly Clouds and I totally agree. It would be an awesome stage, and very Kirby at that. As for Sonic, it's gotta be Green Hill. I can't picture anything else that would be so obvious. Flying Battery Zone had cool music, but so did most Sonic 3 and Knux stages. Maybe just make a stage that references them all?

So, Green Hill Zone and an Angel Island stage that shifts areas? I think that would be pretty cool. S3&K was pretty much Sonic's swan song--the problem is that Sega and Sonic Team in particular don't want to admit that. So we'd probably get GHZ and then something from one of the newer games out of the Adventure era.
I also want a Skull Castle stage for Megaman that's not based on any one in particular, but has elements from several of them to give you the feel of playing any one of the...probably twelve or more that exist.
A stage that's based on Bowser's castle would also be incredible; again, it wouldn't be based on any one setting, but will have elements of several incarnations (lava, prison cells, Thwomps, et cetera).
Some good F-Zero tracks I always thought would make a great Brawl course was Trident or Meteor Storm in GX.

I'd like a stage based on the FLUDDless levels of Super Mario Sunshine. Just simple moving blocks with that fantastic acapella Mario Bros. theme. ;D

Or maybe it's that the majority of the fans and the sales figures say otherwise... >__> If Sonic gets a stage, I'd go for Angel Island or Station Square. But really, the only recurring area in the series is Central City. Shame it's so bland and generic...

What is the place in that image with Zero Suit Samus at the section adventure mode?

What about World 1-1 or World 1-2 from New SMB/SMB?

What about World 1-1 or World 1-2 from New SMB/SMB? A New SMB stage wouldn't be that far off. I can see it. Or, at least, the music.

I'd also go for a Paper Mario stage...but I have no idea where it'd take place. X( Creepy Steeple? The Bitlands...? Hmm.

Personally, I think that the Animal Crossing stage shows that there may be stages from games without character representation. I also think stages will represent individual games and not franchises, so Bridge of Eldin may be the Twilight Princess level but there could also be an Ocarina of Time level, an Adventures of Link level, a Link to the Past level, etc.
Here are some ideas of stages I had:
Duck Hunt Meadow from Duck Hunt (NES) A simple flat floating stage with a tree that can be jumped on as platforms on the left and a bush in the background on the right. The stage is covered in tall grass that obscures the lower part of characters. Avoid the ducks, because you never know when they (and you if you're close) will be shot. If you're shot, you will take a good hit of damage, fall to the ground, and be held up by the Dog who will toss you back into battle. If you self-destruct, the dog pops up and laughs at you.
Discount Shop from Urban Champion (NES) You battle on the street in front of the discount shop. You have to watch out for angry locals dropping stuff out of their windows. The level spans the entire screen (no cliffs), but there are sewer holes that you can knock your opponent into. The death line isn't that far down, so jump out quickly or else you're KO'd.
Hyrule Castle from Link to the Past (SNES) You fight on top of Hyrule Castle and falling off the castle is a KO. There are two levels you can fight on, as you can jump on the top of the upper level. Occasionally, patrolling castle guards will come by and join the battle, but they aren't hard to KO. After a while the screen will wobble and the battle will now be in the Dark World, and you'll be fighting on the pyramid. There are now three levels you can battle on, each getting smaller as you jump higher. The top level is dangerous because Bat-Ganon will burst through it - turning it into a hole you can fall through and get KO'd. The hole will be repaired after the level returns to the Dark World after returning to the Light World.
Butter Building from Kirby's Adventure (NES) You can fight on top of the tower, or on the platform just underneath it. It is sort of like a scrolling level, but instead of the screen moving, the building rotates. If you don't move while the building is spinning, you'll be rotated right off the edge. The Sun and Moon will take turns being day and night. During the day the Sun may drop a huge beam down upon the stage and at night the Moon will rain down stars.
