I think the reason we see Devil is becuase he alone isn't doing any harm. I still beleive Nintendo won't give us Devil World, but the AT is ok.
Love the spandexx. Oh, and the assist is pretty cool.

Click here to learn the differences between MOTHER 2 and SNES EarthBound. I'd love to but it goes nowhere.

Awesome update. It's quirky and very different. I like it. ^_^ And woot to anti-censoring!

I think it's a factor of how big the series is. If it's something like Zelda, keeping in a fairly eccentric pretty obviously homosexual character (Tingle, those cannon dudes, etc.) is okay. It won't get in trouble, it'll still sell, and frankly that stuff will appease the audience. Kid Icarus has statues with nipples in the final stage, and Mario RPG makes a reference to Peach's undies (well... really her " ", but it's implied). Pokemon still makes references to blood and the little buggers eating each other, Mario Strikers had Waluigi doing a crotch-chop, and did people forget we got to finally see Peach's panties in Melee? It just becomes more difficult to break a game into the mainstream for the first time when you have things bogging it down. Like Devil World's heavy usage of religious icons or Earthbound's overt references to drinking. Final Fantasy games had alcohol references for years that Nintendo never batted an eye to. It's just when a game has to first break the scene that NOA gets antsy.
