Its easy to tell...
The playable Toad is the one who's not used as a human shield.

Guys... I really don't think Toad is playable. He'd make a better AT. Alongside Geno and Waluigi and maybe even Falco

Yeah guys. Playable Toad was always wishful thinking. Just suck it in now - it isn't going to happen!

^^^
Kinda like a playable Takamaru, Sukapon, and R.O.B. is wishful thinking?

LOL, I'm naive for hoping for a playable Toad when a playable Takamaru is more unlikely than a playable Toad.

^^^ Kinda like a playable Takamaru, Sukapon, and R.O.B. is wishful thinking? I hope they are there, but if they announced that ROB is an Assist, I'm not going to argue that there's still a chance he's playable! That's what you're doing. Also, what would his moves be again? Oh that's right... Toad would make a lame fighter!

Toad's neutral-special: he throws a Poison Mushroom (Super Mario Kart)
Toad's side-special: he shoots spores that turn opponents into mushrooms (Super Mario RPG)
Toad's up-special: he charges and jumps high (Super Mario Bros. 2)
Toad's down-special: he pulls out vegetables (Super Mario Bros. 2)

His A attacks could all involve his big ol' cap. It's perfect for headbutting.

I have to agree with Fryguy, Toad would suck at fighting...and assisting. All he's good for is being a human shield.

THE PROPHECY IS COMING TRUE!!!!!!!!! Firstly, the umbrella is DESIGNED like Parry. It isn't the same umbrella Secondly, read my post in the Character Roster thread. With Peach, there would only need to be one more veteran and 3 more newcomers to make two perfect grids and confirm 20 starting characters. It's a far shot that Sakurai doesn't just leave gaps here and there, but it's also a part of that guy's theory as well. No, it's 20 excluding the transformation. That woujld be 20 selectable. You don't count Sheik and ZSS. Glad Peach is back (but, did we doubt it). He dress is more based of the actual design used in the game, if a bit more flashy and crazy. I kind of like it. Wonder if she changed any?

Surely I can't be the only one who, after winning a round in Wario's Woods, makes Toad do a little dance by repeatedly kicking left and right and raising his arms?
