This is kinda pointless, but here's the birthdays for the biggies of Nintendo, I'm sure Sakurai likes to send Birthday Updates

We got a great update August 3rd, which was Sakurai's birthday, so watch out for these days...

Creator of Snake and the MGS series, perfect day for the hero to come out of his hole.

Satoshi Tajiri - Tuesday, August 28 (Creator of Pokemon)
Minoru Arakawa - Monday, September 3rd (Former NOA President, linked to Pokemon)
Gunpei Yokoi - Monday, September 10th (G&W is dedicated to him, possible update?
Yuji Naka - Monday, September 17th (Sonic?! This guy used to head the Sonic Team)
Hiroshi Yamauchi - Wednesday, November 7th (Former President)
Shigeru Miyamoto - Friday, November 16th (You should all know)

Although this could be another way to speculate on nothing, notice how in these days we got "special" updates, and I wonder if there've been other special updates like Ike who had something to do with someone's special day, like... FE producer's birthday.

Tomorrow is Kojima's birthday as you can see, and Sakurai is often invited to Kojima's radio blog to talk and discuss things: This could be his "present" and something to talk about during the meeting.

And Metroid Prime 3 will be released the 28th. Possible Metroid update?

Funny fact: Notice how Mario Galaxy is scheduled for Miyamoto's birthday (November 16th).

I would say no, be we did get stuff for Totaka.

I would say yes. We all noticed when it was Sakurai's birthday that we had a huge update, and now Totaka's birthday being Totaka themed. I really do believe we'll see an MGS update on Kojima's birthday.

And September 17th will possibly be interesting.

We'll see tomarrow. but, for the love of God, I need me Sonic. i know everyone here doesn't care as much, but as a crazed Sonic fan, I need this. It musty be the perfect Smash Bros. Nay. GREATEST. GAME. EVER!

I really want Sonic in too, Smashchu. Sonic and Dedede. Beyond them, I really don't mind who we get. Mega Man would be nice, though. ;D

I kind of doubt us getting Snake or his stage as an update tomorrow, since the dude's unlockable, and the same probably goes for his stage. Sure, we technically already know about him, but still. It's the principle of the thing.

However, if we get "How To Play: Sneaking and Crawling" as an update this evening, we'll know why

Solid Snake as a newcomer? I doubt it. But a stage? Very likely. I mean seriously. There is a lack of stages, they should introduce a Metal Gear stage. Or even an assist trophy...

Sakurai said he would be unlockable, on the original website before the relaunch. Note how that's supported by neither Snake or his stage appearing in any screenshots or video clips at all since the site launched with the new blog format.

We are overdue for a stage, so maybe.
