Wizpig = owned by Rare, so he's not happening...and Bowser Jr. has NO chance at being playable. He's just not important enough. Mario's pretty much maxed out at four characters--Seven of Mario's Big Eight are already in Brawl and the last one--Toad--is one of Peach's moves.

But I'd like to see Dark Samus as a boss for a Metroid Prime tie-in. If we have playable Ridley though, we're more likely to get bosses that originated from the other Metroid games, like Kraid or an Omega Metroid.

I could also see Kamek using his Rita Repulsa powers on various villainous characters that are normal-sized, so they're larger and more threatening. It'd be a great way to include an F-Zero boss that's actually a character in the series (Deathborn!).

Also...Raphael the Raven for a Yoshi boss?

A battle with Raphael the Raven would need to be:

• A planet with gravity, something that could probably be reused for a Super Mario Galaxy stage
  
• A planet with no gravity, and the stage would work like Brinstar Dephts from SSBM

And I'm not convinced that Bowser Jr. can't become playable, regardless of how much room would he steal to a greater variety of characters.

If there are clones, I'd say Bowser Jr. is a given. If not, I don't expect to see him.

Okay, no, best not to reflect on that game, even if T. T. kicked ass.

But yes, Wizpig is probably the most boring Nintendo villain ever. And I don't like pigs, unless they happened to be named Pigma Dengar.

Unless Wizpig is in Brawl for a split second being obliterated by Pigma...I'd find that acceptable.

Rare says differently.
"As far as I'm aware - after asking around - all the major DKR characters who aren't Kongs or Kremlings still belong to Rare. Which would make Diddy, Dixie, Tiny and Krunch the 'licensed' ones in this case. And that means we can still do the M-rated Bumper prequel story! Thank you Jesus!"

I strongly disagree - I can't see the Mario series getting less characters in Brawl than in Melee. The way I see it, its either some variant of Mario (Paper would be best), or Waluigi (though he could be considered Wario character) or Bowser Jr. Thats pretty much all there is.

For MArio characters anyone important has a chance....since Waluigi has never been important it would be look kind of bad to put him in.

I thin Geno should be in along with Daisy and Bowser Jr.

Paper Mario can be a chaarcter too but I think that is pushing it with other versions of characters.

As for the villains Mother Brain and Kraid HOW DID I FORGET THEM Kraid would defenitly PWN, also that King Boo guy would be fun to fight against.

If anybody gets in from Paper Mario, I don't think it should be "Paper Mario" or "Paper" versions of any existing chars. A rep from that series would be great, but I don't like the idea of alternate versions.

Problem is, I don't know who it should be...

No for Daysi. I can deal with Bowser Jr. Never really had a problem with him, but he's been a big thjing in the franchise since his inclusion. He was in New Super Mario Bros which surprise me.

As far as he's aware? That comment doesn't fill me with confidence. Although M-Rated Bumper prequel sounds awesome. Thank you Jesus indeed! ;D

I wish everyone would stop asking for more playable Mario characters. Nobody's going to go "wow! More Mario characters" though. If there's more, there's more. But this isn't called "Super Mario Smash Brothers"...
