Regardless of all the hubbuberry, it's cool to see how many different little "movements" Sakurai's team is giving characters. Footstool Jumps, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders, tethering is back, some folks can glide... Makes up for the theorized loss of wavedashing (which most people could never do anyways) You think these little move can make wavedashing obsolet? Seems a little harder then that.

Wavedashing is like snaking in Mario Kart DS - a way for super-nerd players to make online play completely boring for everyone else.

It was also an exploit - sure it became a key part of strategy in SSBM, but I seriously doubt it was intended during development. I wouldn't be surprised if it is either fixed in SSBB, or adopted in a less "cheap" manner. Of course, the super-nerds will find something else to exploit, and no doubt will all be using it by the time Europe gets the game, so if there is online play, we will be prevented from getting on board.

Indeed... as much as I loved the game, I only ever played Mario Kart DS online twice. Losing because I don't have time to study the game's faults is not fun.
Also, neither are people who disconnect when you actually do manage to beat them fairly.

It was fine last time I played. What makes it worse with AR and Gameshark.

It's the same reason I only played Tetris or Pokemon online once. So many people just cheat cheat cheat. How many Charizards with Hydro Pump do you think actually exist in the world, or Mewtwo's with Sacred Fire? Oy..
At least I can still trade over Wi-Fi.

At least I can still trade over Wi-Fi. Good luck with that. Every time I try and trade, people are always asking for lv 100 Dialga for their lv 10 Pikachu... The only way I get fair trades is from Serebii.net, but everyone there asks for shinies.

I have gotten so much stuff just from those.
