That's actually the potted plant. That stage (or in between area) looks just like that in the game.

I call 'put your character into the nose' instead of the 'put the finger into the nose' microgame!

He also has the gray crayon "smudge" following him. Nah, that's the plantpot in the background.

This stage is freakin' awesome! I love it already (and I have one friend who will hate it venomously but I hate him anyway so XP to him).
Also, if you look at the "stay dry" picture, you can see Mario and Kirby taking light damage by being in the rain. I stand by Fry on this one--losing at Microgame$ just means you take damage (or you get stunned or something, like in "jump").
Imagine if they do cameos based on other Nintendo franchises, like the actual WarioWare games do...that'll be awesome.

The real question is just how many microgames they plan to use, and which ones? ;D

Ones that involve actual player interaction, much like the ones seen there. No choice selection or anything like that.

Well, of course you don't see puzzle-type games here, you see only the ones that actually requires the player to do something, and failing to do so would cause actuall damage.
Yet another proof that Sakurai is a second-party hater. Say I'm wrong or something, but why is the original used - the only one in the series without INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS involved?

No, IntSys isn't CREDITED in the first game, but most of the people involved have remained the same through the entire series.
I'm actually starting to wonder though... IS IntSys a second party? Or a first party development studio?

More of the latter. IntSys started as part of Nintendo, and now even nominally and financially independent (they start making games for companies other than Nintendo, but then Nintendo themselves did the same before), they work for Nintendo the way as if they're part of Nintendo.
Still, IntSys as a developer isn't involved in the first Made in Wario is ironic. If they're in any way involved for systems other than GB and Famicom, they say it in their website even if they're not credited.

I think it's less Second Party Hating and more... that it's just easier to get in contact and work with First Party Producers.
For instance... I suspect anything additional to Metroid is more likely to be drawn from R&D1 or NST than from Retro. Retro is a first party, but they're all the way in Austin, TX.

I haven't seen ANY evidence of Sakurai hating 2nd-parties. I think Young Link is just insanely paranoid.
Let's look at Donkey Kong... Sakurai could've easily just used stuff from DK, DK Jr, DK3 and DK'94, right? But the ONLY DK-related thing in SSB or Melee which was ffrom a first-party game was the Hammer. Everything else - character designs, enemies, stages, music, items... all from Rare games.
Sakurai used minigames from the original WarioWare because it was the original WarioWare.

Perhaps I'm going off too far and perhaps Masamune is right in the first party contacting thing... but I still want evidence. I'm still at my "Sakurai hates second party and adopts second party stuff just because audiences want it" stance. I think he's just trying to hide from the fact that he discards second party.
EDIT: Counter-attack: IntSys is just as easy to contact to as Nintendo, considering it's a game developer who tries to look for them, not an average consumer! So... I still need evidence.
Until I see more evidences!
-------------------------------------------------------------
Otherwise, though, the stage is a really neat one. I thought Brawl would have some crazy stages, but this one is really beyond my thought. All I could think of about a WarioWare stage would be something like Onett!
Let's see... I'm guessing about 10 microgames being included.
EDIT: Hey, something good! I see the game graphics seem to have been tuned up to suit Wii's 640*480 / (whatever 16:9) resolution!

But... what? Marth, Roy and Ike have all been in Smash Bros... They're all IntSys, right? Are you just hoping for a Smash Bros. game made exclusively of IntSys stuff?
IntSys are just... not that important. There. I said it. Their most important things are Fire Emblem, which is still pretty much unknown outside of Japan, Paper Mario, which is just a Mario spinoff, and WarioWare, which they didn't even start. For how unimportant their games are, they've had a lot of representation. Lip's Stick, the Devil, Marth, Roy and Ike... and we still don't even know what else. Fire Emblem had more characters in Melee than Kirby did, even!

This stage is probably going to be fast paced, random, and a lot of fun.
