The Japanese love their curly poop. You see it absolutely everywhere! Digimon even had a race of critters made of poop! 'cept it was translated as sludge...

There's a site with info on all curled waste in WarioWare games removed... Twisted anyway. Worm Wario would search for poop in one level.
Why do I suddenly have this feeling DeMille has no chance of being playable now? Hmm. I hope he is... if he's an AT he better have one hell of a moveset.

Don't say such horrible things. He better NOT be an AT! He should be in, whether from the beginning or unlockable, I don't care! Demille must be in!

I'm more for him not being in. If he was in, I wouldn't care, but I just think Lucas is enough for Japanese characters. I'd rather play as characters I've heard of, and I would've never heard of this Demille guy if it weren't fer Parrothead...

Sakurai, put in all the Japanese-only characters you want; I only ask that they be countered with a playable Mike Jones.

Strange... the poop was left in Wario: Master of Disguise without any problems, so it was probably just an issue with whoever was in charge of Twisted's localization.

Other Japan-Only characters that were mentioned in Sakurai's SSBB poll, besides Lucas, Takamaru, DeMille, and Skapon were: - Donbe (Shin Onigashima)
- Lip (Panel de Pon)
- Furil (Nintendo Puzzle Collection: Panel de Pon)
- Oguma (Fire Emblem 1 and 3)
- Cheer Squad (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 1 and 2)
- Claus (MOTHER 3/GBA EarthBound)
- Ninten (MOTHER 1/NES EarthBound)
- Nabaru (Fire Emblem 1 and 3)
- Famicom Tantei Club characters
- Jeigan (Fire Emblem 1 and 3)
- Kumatora (MOTHER 3/GBA EarthBound)
AND
- Sheeda (Fire Emblem 1 and 3)
Some of them might appear inside a stage or become Assist Trophies, Stickers, regular Trophies, alternate costumes, other or not appear at all.

I will take that list and comment, because I'm feeling CRAZY and spontaneous today! Before you read my comments, PLEASE remember that OF COURSE every single one of these characters could have some kind of moveset made for them, but that doesn't mean they should, or that they are likely to. Thanks TakamaruMy #1 choice for a new character. Armed with a samurai sword, and a host of other weapons (fireballs, ninja stars, lightning) he would be an Edo era Link-type character. Also, his game rocks - a Japanese castle stage would be very, very welcome, as would music and other elements from the games. StafySmall, light, cute characters seem hard to come by. Stafy would fulfil this role perfectly. Plenty of moves, cartoon expressions... and all the cameos in American games give Stafy a good shot at playable status. DeMilleDeMille could work as a playable character, but the game was really quite obscure, even in Japan. I'd be very surprised if he made it in as playable, even though he would be quite easy to do so. I would put him in the same boat as Jill (Drill Dozer). SukaponThis robot was my second choice behind Takamaru, but all signs are pointing to unlikely. Apparently, Sakurai attempted a playable Sukapon once already with Melee, but had problems, and said not to expect Sukapon in later games either. Sounds suspicious... but some kind of Sukapon would be nice - an Assist, a trophy, even a sticker! Donbe (Shin Onigashima)Highly unlikely to be playable, as text adventures don't lend themselves well to fighting games. Famicom Tantei Club charactersSame dealy as Donbe. They don't have any attacks. They talk to people and solve crimes. Their movesets would be ludicrous. Lip (Panel de Pon)Lip was background decoration to a puzzle game. Sure she could be playable with Garbage Blocks and her flower stick and all that, but she does seem a little limited. Furil (Nintendo Puzzle Collection: Panel de Pon)It's just Lip again, really... alt. costume? Oguma/Navarre (Fire Emblem 1 and 3)Side characters and mercenary fighters/bandits. I'd be extremely surprised if any of the non-main Fire Emblem characters made it. Jeigan (Fire Emblem 1 and 3)Jeigan is a paladin. Are we suggesting a horseback rider in Smash Bros.? Because that seems a little daft. He's be a neat Assist, mind. Sheeda (Fire Emblem 1 and 3)Another decent Assist Trophy idea, but not a playable. She's a pegasus rider. I think the Japanese kids are just as clueless as non-Japanese when it comes to suitable fighters. Ninten (MOTHER 1/NES EarthBound)I'd prefer Ness, to be honest... and even he's looking increasingly unlikely right now Claus (MOTHER 3/GBA EarthBound)Alt. costume for Lucas - just you watch! Also, anyone who has played through the game or who knows the story will know WHY this is such a ridiculous idea. Kumatora (MOTHER 3/GBA EarthBound)Another PSI user? Again... this seems like a popular character who might get an Assist role, but is not notable enough to join the Smash Bros. cast. Cheer Squad (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 1 and 2)Definitely excellent Assist material, but they really wouldn't be great players. After all... they dance and shout.

Donbe is a good choice, because he used some weapons in Shin Onigashima. Most notably a y-shaped stick as a kid and a katana when he got older (which is what Samurai Goroh, Lyn and Takamaru use). Donbe, Hikari and their three animal friends could all become one Assist Trophy or perhaps an all-in-one playable character different compared to Zelda, Pokémon Trainer and the Ice Climbers, but equally comparable to Peach using a Toad. Shin Onigashima was the first text adventure game Nintendo ever made, as well as one of the most popular Famicom Disk System titles. It was even remade for the Super Famicom and was ported to Game Boy Advance and Virtual Console. Donbe & Hikari even appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 3, as well as a regular Trophy in SSBM.
Tomato Adventure is obscure, but not extremely obscure. DeMille has plenty of things for Sakurai to choose from, including some that are similar to Final Smash moves. If AlphaDream needs help, then DeMille might be a good way to make AlphaDream work on another title, because they haven't announced any new titles, lately.

How much did it sell anyway?

If he's playable that'll probably end up as his FS. That or something with those orbs he's collecting (I almost got a seizure seeing the ending. I guess what I'm trying to say is FS: Seizure Strike).

Hey! Remember those Pokemon episodes that were never shown outside of Japan because they caused seizures?
Well now you can get that same experience from Nintendo again with Takamaru's Seizure Strike Final Smash!
picture He's grabbed the Smash Ball!
picture Wow! Even his Smash Ball glow make my eyes water!
picture Turn around now Takamaru player! Don't look into the light!
picture SEIZURE STRIKE!
picture FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!
picture Now attack your opponants when their stunned!
picture Hi-yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Chopity-chop!
This I would have to say is the only move in Smash Bros up till now that affect the characters and the people playing the game as well.
I recommend you use it online against people you don't know, so they don't get angry at you the next time you play . . .
And that finally answers the question of why I did not include names in that part of the online mode. If someone wants to they can add pictures to the above text to make it better.
