Don't worry - it'll be quite heavily spoiler marked, and I also plan NOT to do anything on the first post of the page in case of accidental clickage. As for pics...I can't promise anything (limited website space and all that) but I wouldn't lie to you guys, and that I can promise. Just clear it with Fry and do a page of just empty posts or something. That'd be awesome. But would the guides come out that early? I can definitely see it being a week in advance, but I'd imagine the game would be out in Japan definitely by then.

It probably won't be before Japan gets it, alas. This is an experiment in terms of seeing how early we get it. Sometimes we get books months before they come out. I'm not sure how Prima releases their guides, though...so we'll see. In any case, if there ISN'T a thread about it when I get the guide, I'll do one...if Fry's cool with it, of course. ^_^

Do you guys think Lucario will replace Mewwo? I hope not...I loved using Mewtwo in Brawl! Everybody has said this...well heaps of people. "Lucario will replace Mewtwo, C. Falcon is unlockable and Ganondorf is in with new moveset."

Falcon is unlockable and Ganondorf is in with new moveset." can defintly see them replacing Mewtwo with Lucario. However, Mewtwo is still popular, still one of the most recognizable Pokemon, and still the best rep for evil pokemon. It might happen and it might not. Capt. is returning. No exceptions. Gannondorf was supposed to have an original moveset in Melee but it got the ax because of time constraints. You can still hack the sword he was supposed to use. Since Sakurai has said there won't be any clones, Gannondorf's moveset issue should be fixed.]

Does that mean no Dr. Mario?

Does that mean no Dr. Mario? Very likely. And we could have both Lucario and Mewtwo. Just because Lucario can fire an Aura Sphere doesn't mean that it will work like a Shadow Ball. Lucario or no Lucario, I don't think they 'll get rid got rid of Mewtwo. EDIT: past tense

Wait wait wait! Is the only proof this guy made a "prophecy" a topic a guy made AFTER the Dojo update, claiming that some other guy made a prediction before the Dojo. I could do that right now: Dudes! There was this friend of mine that said something a couple months ago and I thought he was crazy until today! He said this this and this AND he said that we could share photos with the Wifi like the update said today! NO! This was made months ago! That's the crazy thing! The topic was modded; read the background before jumping to conclusions! EDIT: i2.photobucket.com/albums/y39/chupelo/gamefaqs2.jpgOkay, that makes more sense.

Lucario and Mewtwo are like night and day. Aura Sphere is basically a ki blast, not a wavy ball of shadow. And Lucario learns nothing like Disable or Confusion OR Teleport. The guy is just blowing off a crazy idea, he even admits! ("I have no idea what's meant by 'taking Mewtwo's place'")

I can't really see Lucario replacing someone like Mewtwo, but time will tell. It's sad that most people want Mewtwo out because he kinda sucks instead of, you know, change his A moves a bit and make him faster or heavier.

Or make him kickass like in the Pokemon games.

Well... Kirby supposedly got stronger, so why can't the same be done to Mewtwo?

Mewtwo is just light. That's his only problem. He's actually a really, really good character in the proper hands. I have been at tourneys where my Yoshi and my friend's Mewtwo just hand everyone their asses. No lies. Just Fair, Nair, and Uthrow your way to victory. Not kidding. Mewtwo is the KING of dodging and stealing KO's.

Yes, Mewtwo's smash attacks are surprisingly powerful, and his up-throw throws very high!

Mewtwo has some of my favorite moves, I used to attempt maining him, and sorta did for some time. His Down Smash is amazingly powerful, his Aerial Smash can knock a foe upward quite well, and his throws can promise a ring-out within a matter of moments. Mostly his side and up throws. Seeing Mewtwo replaced with Lucario would make me sadder than Lucas replacing Ness.
Mewtwo's the closest a Pokemon can come to being evil in the game canon, it's genetically altered and went insane in the lab it was in. Has his own dungeon.... Lucario I know a few things of, but if anything they should make him a fifth Pokemon character alongside Red (PKMN Trainer), Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and Mewtwo.

If Mario is getting five characters (which is inevitable), Pokemon is getting five characters. That's the flat out of it.
Clearly they're beefing up franchise rosters this time around, so why ignore the potential in a fifth Pokemon character?
