Now, sorry for the long post but does Ike use Warp or someone else? Only Fire Emblems I have currently played are Gaiden and Blazing Sword (2 and 7).. I need to play PoR. Nope. He never did. I think that came from the Black Knight actually.

Anyone else notice how Pit's entrance is the same (basically) as Link's from SSB64?

That explains why Link has a competely new entrance... Come to think it, parts of Pit's model as well as some of the animations we've seen him with seem kinda recycled from Young Link. Makes sense, though I guess now we know what happened to the clones.

Lucas Teatable entrance is cool, but it won't top Ness SSB64 awesome entrance. That's another reason for bringing Ness back! I actually forgot what Ness' intro was, so I plugged my N64 back in after almost a year of disuse just to find out...only to discover that the file I had on that cart didn't have Ness unlocked. XD So after taking Captain Falcon through 1P Mode and kicking ass, I unlocked Ness and got to see what his intro was. And it is, indeed, awesome. Ness zooms into the battlefield and explodes, getting covered in soot? Classy! I'd love to see an SSBB version of that.

Example: In the second trailer (Nintendo World), he taps his feet on the ground in almost the exact same manner. Some of his midair movements have a bit of a resemblance as well. Let's not forget the fact that he's a blade user to begin with, and his bodily proportions look very similar, only with Roy's hairdo. This doesn't have to be a major issue, I was only making an observation. And yes, PSI Teleport did rock. Ness should return.

Most of Young Link's animations were taken from regular Link, anyway. XD

Pit basically is the same as Young Link anyways. They're both kids, they're both adventurers and naive and given gigantic tasks they don't fully understand. I could totally understand Pit being a "re-do" from Young Link's model. It makes sense. And a lot of the folks who went to E For All swear Pit plays almost exactly like Link as far as timing and strength/weight goes. He's a bit lighter and some of his A and all his B attacks are different. BUT, beyond that, he's best suited for people who play as Link normally. Go figure I always imagined Pit being part of the Zeldaverse, considering he's also from that Famicom Disk Era (which I guess would also make Samus part of the Zeldaverse too, huh?)

Depends. I mean, Metroids do cameo in Kid Icarus, so it's obvious the two are canonical to each other. Then Kid Icarus and Zelda both take place in fantasy universes...more canon there! And since Star Fox Adventures was fantasy, it must be canon to Zelda and Kid Icarus, which in turn is also linked to Metroid by being an outer space adventure. With Star Fox comes the obvious connection with Donkey Kong, Mario, Yoshi and Wario, while the outer-space theme also brings F-Zero into the mix. Pretty much the only thing that doesn't fit is Pokémon, but Pokémon is for little kids and clearly not serious business, so who cares about that?
;D ;D ;D

lol Don't forget that if Mario is involved, then Pikmin are also included. And if Pikmin is included, then Gyromite is as well.

Kirby and Fire Emblem, too, since they take place in outer space and are a fantasy genre, respectively.
