I had this thought as soon as I saw the first "dark" characters in the E For All videos. I also thought DK looked like a yeti with that colour scheme - nice to see Sakurai thought the same. I wonder if that's based on the yeti character from the animated TV series... it was quite popular in Japan, as I understand it. Yeah, that's the one. I was thinking the same thing. I actually like that show quite a bit, even if it deviated some from the games. |

Yeah, I thought it was fun, too. XD My brother actually has some of those on VHS, I should see if it hasn't been swallowed by our house and sit down to watch 'em.

Everyone at DKU joked that Sakurai took notice of the craptasticly hilarious DKC show and made Eddie the Mean Old Yeti playable. Hahaha.
Fusion Suit Samus actually looks good with the color swap. And kinda got Naked Snake camo colors.

I have a feeling that nearly everyone on Wi-Fi are gonna use the dark versions of the characters. Not that thats bad, but it will get annoying fighting dark Link/Pit/Zelda/Fox over and over again.
Fallen Angel Pit looks badass by the way.

Flip... I'm BEGGING you to finish that list so we can add it to the sticky'd post. I've been trying to compose a list of all known colors... but I know I'd miss alot of them, or might get some of them wrong, since it's hard for me to see some of the colors in those E for All videos.

This is my first post here. The Smashwiki article only has the colours that might represent a different costume, so the ones you mentioned wouldn't be on the list, except maybe Mario as Luigi. Then again, it doesn't have Foreman Spike Mario or Shiny Pika W/ Ash's hat, so its not perfect. |
