In Thores' defense, what Rygar did was pretty unnecessary. But in Rygar's defense, Fry made the Mother 3 Mandate beforehand, and so Thores ought to have known better.
My point? It is what it is. Nobody can really be faulted here, Thores has already made his choice to take a break (I would hardly call leaving for a day or until Brawl's release a "leaving the internet forever" speech), and nothing can be done to undo this whole situation. I think the most we can really do at this point is learn to be more careful--and I mean this for both sides of the Mother Spoilers issue. We follow the rules Fry set in regards to the game; you break them at your own risk.
I haven't noticed a degradation in the MB's behavior, as Thores said, but I also haven't been around as frequently as normal over the past two weeks. I'd like to think the members here can treat each other with enough respect to avoid any more issues like this, kthx.
And that's all I really got to say on that issue.

Anyways, I don't see the big deal about spoilers. You're just going to find out eventually, so why not sooner than later? It's like getting a Christmas present. Would you want to open it before Christmas, or at Christmas? Why would anyone want to ruin Christmas by opening thier presents early? If you're not going to wait till Christmas, why not just go out and buy it yourself?

NinjaRygar, Thores was being the idiot. If he can't avoid clicking on topics with "Mother" in the whizzing title, he DESERVES to be spoiled on Mother 3. If I actually cared about spoilers, I would avoid reading topics where the game I don't want spoiled is being mentioned! That should be obvious!

OK, OK... let's clear this up.
What Rygar did was a tad unnecessary, but I didn't read it as a personal attack on anyone, but an explosive relief at finally being able to talk about the game. Hell, I was SO tempted to do exactly the same before I instated the Spoiler Free status. And nobody can ban me ;D But I said Mother 3 was spoiler free for just this reason. I wasn't expecting a kind of "settling down" period, although it would have been nice. But it's the internet. I was being realistic on that.
The fact Thores took it personally and thought it was an attack on him is actually one of the big issues I have been having with you lot lately. While some people have been argumentative assholes on and off, some people have been acting as if the whole forum is against them when it's not the case. And after they moan and moan at being affronted all the time, sure enough the whole forum IS against them. Since kicking up a stink the other week, I have seen a big improvement in behaviour from those who were getting angry and assholish. But the moaning victims have continued.
Anyway, Thores, nobody was attacking you until you kicked up a stink. And while SAMaine's post is unnecessarily confrontational (edit that please), it has a big flashing red point. If you're really that bothered about Mother 3 spoilers, don't go in Mother 3 threads. I have already established the rules so you are protected in non-Mother 3 threads, so you can avoid spoilers. Hell, I avoided every Galaxy thread until the game was released.

Thanks for clearing it up Fry.
Thores seems to have left, but he may come back. I didn't want to cause no trouble... (hell, usually 90% of what I say gets completely ignored.)
