Well, Nintendo has now officially stated that Sonic and Solid Snake are unlockables, so for those skeptics out there, you can take a breath of fresh air. Not that thats a suprise to anyone. Anyway if we do see 3rd #3 he's going to be one with a smaller fanbase or at least one that would have bought brawl anyway, likely swaying him towards Mega Man or Pac Man. |

Theres no reason that a really high profile character that draws a bunch of new fanboys to Smash couldn't be hidden - those fanboys could always buy the game on day 2 or after - they don't all have to buy it on day 1. Though I'd argue that both of those characters, or at least definitely Mega Man, are high profile anyway. |

But the problem is that these characters bring in a lot of hype. If there was a third one, why would he neglect to show it?
Sakurai said 1-2 3rd party characters after Snake so he has meet his quota. This could be it.

I am so PUMPED right now! Why? According to Brawl Central (google it) There is another event in Japan happening today where you can play this game. But, unlike the other times, it's the FINAL VERSION. Not just a demo!
Expect the starting roster to show up VERY SOON.

I don't see that event listed anywhere on the site, and I don't see anywhere where it says the game can be purchased. Maybe post a quote? EDIT: I see where they talk about the event (Whobby 2008) but they don't have anything about buying the game. |

I'd be wary, because the character pic could bery easily be faked, especialy since the only new character shown is Mr. Game & Watch, and his model likely wouldn't change. If it was a picture of Sukapon , Takamaru or Geno in 3D, I'd be more inclined to believe it.. The Smash Attack pic could be from somewhere else, perhaps the program for Whobby or Jump Fest. That said, I'd be quite happy with this roster and these stages.
EDIT: Isn't the pic of MG&W from somewhere in Melee? Like on of his trophies or something?

G&W's pic seems to be coming straight from Melee, yeah. Also he seems less blurry then the other characters. Also why are those pictures always blurry? If you have the god damned guide available, take a nice clear picture of it, hell scan it for the rest of us.
Probably 'shopped but what do I know.
e: Any list that has Isaac or Black Shadow is guaranteed to be fake

Could be real. Those screen in the first scan look legit, but the Game & Watch looks right out of Melee. We'll have to see.
EDIT:Also, Roster seems kind of fake
