www.thewiieffect.com/2007/12/06/brawl-roster-leak/Interesting..... the leak correctly predicted Olimar and Sheik as the next newcomer and veteran to be revealed in the middle of December 2007. This roster looks pretty good, but I am not too keen on Ness, Falco, and K. Rool and that Lucas and Marth are the only Japan-only characters. If Jigglypuff and Krystal are the next veteran and newcomer to be revealed after Sheik and Olimar, I think this leak might be the real deal. And I'd be a little sad that Takamaru and Mii are not playable but at least Mega Man, WW Link, AC Villager, and Isaac are in.

There is no new WTF characters after Olimar and Red.  I was hoping for someone completely unexpected... yet this leaked roster pretty much has all the expected characters except for Pokemon Trainer. Guess I will have to settle down for this Brawl roster unless a newcomer debunks this leaked roster.  |

It looks like every other list I've ever seen. And the Newcomers list is disappointing, for the most part. I seriously don't see Isaac being included, and at this point Mega Man seems massively unlikely (a shame, but I'm not holding my breath any more).
Also, if SSBM's clone characters are returning, how come none of the Newcomers are also clones of new characters? To me, that just doesn't add up. If clones are going to be in, I would expect to see some new ones thrown in as well. I don't think that's out of the question, right?

The only thing I can see wrong with that list is that Dr. Mario and Roy aren't on that list. Not that I expect them to get in anyway, but you know......
And, I cannot see Megaman getting into brawl, not even in my wildest dreams. Thereby proving this to be a load of baseless conjecture (although I am prepared to eat my words on this issue, if it is proved to be true).
One last thing, the worst thing on this list: Krystal being playable. So I hope what I said above happens.

I say this as a person who is in love with both Smash Bros and Star Fox and wishes that Krystal would get retconned out of continuity. Krystal has become important in the Star Fox franchise - so much so that she not only has replaced Peppy as a wingmate, but also has several endings focused on and dedicated to her in Star Fox Command, probably more than Fox. Like her or not, she's very much there and represents a new age for the series - the Age of Every Star Fox Game After Star Fox 64. Not to mention that her staff gives her a viable moveset, since Fox learned a slew of different moves with it, so it wouldn't be extraordinarily difficult. If Star Fox gets a second playable character, it's going to be Krystal; if they get a third, then it'd be Falco. That's just how it's gonna roll. |

Playable Krystal (though I still don't think shes as good as falco) may help reshape her in the Starfox siries for the better. Thats my biggest hope if she's playable. |

And notice how the veterans are listed in the same order as in the Dojo? Well, this leaked roster listed Olimar after Dedede and Sheik after Ice Climbers. And this leaked roster was posted in mid-December 2007. So if Krystal and Jigglypuff are the next newcomer and veteran confirmed as the leaked roster indicates, this might be the real deal. Personally I don't like the roster that much but if its real, I'll have no choice but to accept it. |

LOL of course its fine to you! Isaac is in the list! Isaac would be really interesting. I hope he plays very differently from the other swordfighters as he uses Psynergy. Maybe his grab move will be the "Catch" Psynergy? Oh, the possibilities the Psynergy can bring! |

Found two leaks/SSBB info sources. The first one is from Brawl Central's forums. WARNING possible spoliers after link.The second one is from N-Sider.com fourms. A member there has a friend that works at NOA and talks to the translators (working on the game) 3 days a week at lunch. His talks with those translator have supposedly confirmed 2/3's of what is on the Brawl Central forums list. (Link to post).This post of his on the next page has him talking about some more info he got from his friend. Who tells him info about SSBB which is keep quite vague but he says matchs up with what BC has. WARNING possible spoliers after link. Link to post.But this post explains that the translators could be lying to his friend. Even though his friend was right about additions to SSBB in the past. Link (no spoilers). |

Well, I have to give that lot credit, those are some impressive rumors/leaks. They even take a few risks - Sukapon, for real? That's something the average rumor miller doesn't cover.
