-Bowser Jr - Imagine a faster bowser, though weaker (not to be confused with Baby Bowser, who wont be in this game).
-Geno - Was put in to feed the fans basically, Sakurai wasn't going to add him, but wants this game to appeal to fans and last a long time (at least till the next SSB).
-Sukapon - From Joy Mech Fight (nintendo game from the early 90's)

Darkrai is likely not playable. That's a weird character addition if you ask me, and Serebii at some point said he was sure that Arceus and Darkrai were not present (according to his sources). Then again, Shaymin IS present, so that may have changed from Serebii's knowledge--though likely NOT the playable character.
If it isn't Lucario or Mewtwo, I still venture Jigglypuff. It's too much to go and search for all the rosters Serebii has "deconfirmed," but almost ALL of the "leaked" rosters included JPuff and we just assumed Mewtwo got the axe because of ChaosZero. We NEVER confirmed that he was 100% legit, and we know for a FACT that JPuff was originally planned to be cut from Melee.
If we get a new character in the realm of say... Pac-Man or something like that, it's not that far to say they adopted JPuff's moves. Afterall, it happened with Ness to Lucas. Jigglypuff can be recycled. But she is not necessarily guaranteed to return. Beating up on the Puffster is a Smash staple, but not a requirement. Hayter was just reciting what he knew if this is the case. We can not take an amateur interview as a legitimate source, no less the mumblings of a voice actor who obviously was only casually familiar with Smash Bros.
That said, there's one other option: Pichu.
