Still begs the questions: Where the wizzle is Falcon? Right here:

My thoughts eactly. I also agree with Fry as they seem like updated Wire Frames. We know that Rad is Falcon, Blue is Zelda, Green is Kirby, but I'm unsure about Yellow. I was even thinking Mario. Kind of hard to tell. I'm guessing Lucas. It just seem like they have the same standing animation. I was never very comfortable with this. For a start the proportions are all wrong, and they don't have any moves. In my eyes, ever since Melee, they've just been man, woman - and now child and what appears to be some kind of rocket-shaped blob!

The first one is definitely Falcon. It even has his stance and A attack from Melee!
Blue is clearly Zelda.
Green is Kirby.
And Yellow I figure is Lucas. The Green one has a point, which we know Kirby lacks. So adding horns isn't too farfetched. And isn't that a bit tall for an Animal Crossing character? The stance is strange too.

I count yet another Super Sentai reference.
Sakurai must like those shows. The influence is definatly there in these characters. I hope they have funny animations.

And now we know that Falcon is in the game. But why in the hell has he not been shown off yet. What's the deal?

Why is everyone saying blue is Zelda? She looks far more like Zero Suit Samus, if anyone.

Why is everyone saying blue is Zelda? She looks far more like Zero Suit Samus, if anyone. It's possible (with the ponytail) but Zelda is possible too. Not to mention Zelda was used for the Female frame in Melee. Red and Green are the easiest to see, while yellow is the hardest.

They don't really resemble anyone if you ask me. except the green one which is a blob with hands. Red- Generic looking guy. Blue- Generic looking girl.
Purple- Generic looking hermaphrodite. Green- Blob. Yellow- Thing with horns.
I just don't see it.

The Male was Falcon, and as you can see, Red has Falcon's model. Why produce a whole new model for an unimportant NPC?

This update reminds me of the Terminator movies. First you had a robot, then a liquid metal dude, then a robot covered with liquid metal. In Smash, we've had a wireframe, a polygon, and now a wireframe inside polygons.

The Fighting (Blank) Teams are always weak clones of a fighter with no B moves. In the original, there were 12 of them. In Melee, there were just 2 based on Captain Falcon and Zelda.

Would it be cool if when you played it on "cruel" that they aren't so much harder but when you hit them their armour comes flying off bit by bit intil they are just wire frames. Because look they are still Wire frames. Look at their stomachs, what do you think?

I think what people are trying to say and having difficulty with is that, in Melee, the Male Wire Frame had several of the same character animations as Captain Falcon, and the female ones did for Zelda - including their unique walking motions and A-button attacks. The models themselves were not spot-on accurate and they lacked both the same physics as well as all of their Special moves, but you could tell where the inspiration came from on them.
With this, yeah - Red Alloy looks a lot like he's doing a Captain Falcon pose, and given the history with Male Wire Frame, it's entirely possible that they recycled the same concept; however, we've only got...what, one full screenshot of Red Alloy to judge from, so I don't know. Same applies for Blue Alloy - we just haven't seen her in action yet.
Something you all may like to consider is that each color represents a body type; Red Alloys can be based on normally-proportioned males like Link, Snake or Ike, Blue can be females (Peach, Zelda, Samus/ZSS), Yellow can be midgets (Mario, Diddy, Lucas) and Green can be Oddities (Pikachu, Kirby, Squirtle). Not entirely sure where guys like Bowser, Dedede or DK would fit in though. Each Alloy has a randomized moveset and physics (like Fighting Polygons) while retaining a set look (Fighting Wireframes).

It's interesting that this game has both player copy-cats (primids) which spawn from the FPT. as well as generic fighters (alloys) which spawn from The wireframes.
