I can see Ness and Lucas on the Wii.com version if I pause when the Claus sticker is highlighted... I can't see the Pokémon ones, though. And I can't see any without pausing. Weird. Aw crap you're right. You can't see it without pausing (huh?) but it is there. Sorry everyone. My bad. |

What a completely bizarre way to leak something. With these 3 characters confirmed, and 1 seemingly confirmed out, I'm beginning to believe that we may have the list already. Between the 'leaker' in the neogaf thread www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=227646, the guy that predicted Dragoon, and some other post on gamefaqs, all of these things gel together and work perfectly with this. If this is really the case, then... 35 characters, 41 stages, Wolf and Falco = in, Ridley = out. Hmmm, I think this is just about over. |

I don't think there is any credit to that person's prediction.
The only one on there with credit is ChaosZero, who didn't say much, but said Lucario would Replaces Mewtwo, and Ness would return (along with Falcon, Falco, Sheik and Ganondorf).
The other rumors though... they're still likely to be crap. Especially the 35 characters one.

Hahaha. Oh wow. I just hope that the find is real. Playable Jigglypuff is the only thing I demand for Brawl. After that, Sakurai can do whatever crazy stuff he wants.

why are people assuming this means Mewtwo is cut? maybe he's just not playable in SSE, and therefore would have no use for stickers.

I can't see anything without pausing either. How bizarre!
I'm now trying to download the video so I can look at it frame by frame. It's a bit trickier because the Wii site streams the videos, whereas the Dojo simply has them embedded in the Flash player.

Hm, interesting development. I'm not truly ruling Mewtwo out (perhaps he gets his own line of stickers? How would we know?), but the evidence is convincing. We'll just have to wait and see. And whoever found this out is crafty. Nintendo forcing peopel to pause the clip to see icons...sneaky.

For all we know (unless somebody who has the game says otherwise), Lucario or Ness could even be revealed one of these days and maybe Jigglypuff is the only one accidentally shown.
Much like in Melee tournaments from early 2002 where they avoided using memory cards, hence not allowing the spectators to see many unlockable characters except Marth (who is the first unlockable character if playing versus matches long enough). And we know Jigglypuff is traditionally the easiest character to unlock.
Lucario's status doesn't make him/it worth of being super hidden, really. But... whatever.

Maybe he isn't unlocked in this particular video? Maybe he's the only Pokemon character that the selected sticker doesn't work on? There is enough space for five characters next to the text...

Face the facts, Mewtwo's been replaced. having a role and being playable are two different things. Wario's been confirmed to play a villainous role in the SSE, and notice that the Mona sticker in one of the screenshots does not have a Wario face next to it. I'm not saying that necessarily means anything, but with how little we know about how the SSE actually works, nothing really means anything at this point. anything is possible! |

Hey, you guys keep doubting. More power to you. But if there are up to five spaces, I'm thinking one of the series has up to five characters. And I'm thinking that series is Mario... Wario's been confirmed to play a villainous role in the SSE, and notice that the Mona sticker in one of the screenshots does not have a Wario face next to it. Maybe its because that sticker spplies to everyone? |
