Maybe its because that sticker spplies to everyone? that's exactly what I'm saying. we don't know. it very well could apply to everyone. by the same token, it's completely possible that the Groudon sticker only applies to those four characters, even if Mewtwo is in the game. where is there any proof that any character-specific sticker necessarily applies to every character from a particular franchise? we just don't have that kind of information yet.

So what you're saying, is that Ness and Lucas may also have another character? Or Kirby? Or Sonic? All this denying is crazy. Mewtwo's moves have been spread out evenly between characters like Charizard (tail moves), Lucas (psychic moves), and maybe even Ness (who could have new moves added). And I want to clarify that I'm not trying to pick on you either, Teev. I respect your opinions 100% and I see where you're coming from; I'm just trying to remain objective while hoping secretly for Mewtwo's return as a playable character. No problem man, it's a debate.

I'm not saying it's at all likely, I'm saying it's possible. why isn't that possible? it's not like I'm saying YOU'RE A FOOL AND MEWTWO IS DEFINITELY 100% IN BRAWL, here. I'm just saying it's silly to think it's not even a possibility based on one little screenshot. I honestly wouldn't place a bet on his chances either way, because we don't have that information in any way.

Well, this is going nowhere. I guess in the end we still just have to wait another 10days+ to know about the true roster and Mewtwo's fate.
Meanwhile I'm still hoping for another thid party to show up, doesn't even have to be Megaman. Only to have the 4 players, 4 companies free for all between Mario, Sonic, Snake and ___.

You know, I don't think that's a picture of Ness. I think that's actually a picture of Pokemon Trainer. He wears a red hat as well. It makes sense since all the other characters in the picture are part of the Pokemon group. Also, I think I can see a bit of white on the hat. Probably it's supposed to form the pattern on his hat.

Hm. A closer look shows that the two symbols of Pokemon Trainer and Ness, while similar, do offer subtle differences. Ness' face is curved like Lucas', and his hat is turned backwards (you can see the bill to the left of his head). Pokemon Trainer's hat has a flash of white up front, but Ness' hat does not, and PT is missing that bill to the left. So I don't think that it is the same character, myself.

There are two pictures. One shows Pokemon Trainer, Pikachu, Lucario, and Jigglypuff. The other shows Lucas and Ness. Why does everyone always ignore the second picture! Also, notice the gray text by Pikachu...This picture also has gray text with a "U" visible. It could be short for "Used by" or something like that...and Katrina is from Animal Crossing...

Hm, I missed that bit of his sentence about the rest in the picture being the Pokemon group. I do believe you're right, Teev.

Oh, I didn't realize there was a second picture. You're right, the second one is definitely not the same as the first. Okay, now I believe that Ness is in.

I'm not sure how it works.
According to the "leaked" roster... we have to unlock 14 characters.
That screen only has room for about 9.
(Actually... if there is room for one more row on each side of the screen, it would work out perfectly. 14 unlockables. 1 random space)

Hmmm . . . Interesting. Another feature to not on the menu screen is Shiek image is in Zelda's selection button.
Wouldn't this guy have showed the back and spine of the box as well to prove it was even more real? I mean anyone with good computer skills should be able to fake a title screen and disk.
