Then what would be the point of them in the first place, though? Videos are great, but if you really want to advertise a game, demos are the way to go cause it gives people a taste of what they're missing, and enough incentive to make them want to invest in those old timey games.

FUN FACT: a video of Ice Climber or Super Mario Bros would be hundreds of times larger than the actual game.

A light alternative to demos that could go on par with things like trophies and stickers would be a gallery with screenshots of important events from video games of the past. You know, memorable boss battles, power-up scenes, hidden worlds, etc.
I'm sure I would enjoy it!

Fry.... I guess these games aren't depenent on VC. The did include a non-VC game called MOTHER2. I'm guessing that that means Earthbound will eventualy be a VC title, as if their was any doubt to that, rather than deconfirming it. FE 3 is another story, tho, as I doubt that it would make it here to the US. Aren't we getting the DS remake, anyway? |

Well, no U.S. release has been announced for Fire Emblem DS, but I'd be a bit surprised if it didn't arrive here.

He he he. I posted an idea like this on Gamefaqs once, and I recieved a surprising amount of dissing, even for them.
Cool feature. Hopefully we get M2 and FE. I wonder if the original Metal Gear will get in.

If you mean in Brawl, I dunno. I hope so. If you mean on the VC, I'm sure Konami will release it eventually, if theirs no weird copyright for it. I kinda hope we get FE, but with the remake coming here, maybe?, it'd be a waste of translators that could be doing better things. Like translating Mother 3.  |

I don't mind if they just leave the Japanese-only games in Japanese, as long as they don't remove them. they're mainly there as a historical curiosity anyway, and it wouldn't hurt anyone if they just left them there. but after what happened to poor Tamagon last time, I'm worried! :<
