With 700 pages, I expected a few holes... And that's why I unleashed YL on it a couple of days early . He did spot the ANN Super Mario Bros. mistake, to be fair to him... And I forgot to fix it Hang on... How do you know the photographer is Sandos? Sandos is simply the user who uploaded the photo for all I can tell... and clicking on his user page, he doesn't sound like a professional technology photographer. And actually, I found it on a different website by Googling "SNES". You seem to have a strange understanding of what "fair use" means... particularly with picking that ONE image on NinDB out. All of the images on NinDB aren't "fair use", except for the layout bits. Similarly, all of the images on all of the gaming fansites you've ever read aren't "fair use". And that one SNES image? I'd wager that's not fair use, covered by the GNU or property of the guy who uploaded it. Well, its Japanese name is Kurukuru Kururin, and the only English manual called it Kurukuru Kururin. And "Kurukuru" is a word (kinda). So It's Kurukuru Kururin.

I'd wager that's not fair use, covered by the GNU or property of the guy who uploaded it. It's actually not about fair use in this case, that image was uploaded under a free license. Well, the user Sandos who originally uploaded the image (it was later uploaded to the Commons by someone called Holek) claims that he made the photograph. Seeing that the image is several years old and widely used at Wikipedia in many languages, I don't think that it was stolen, they would have deleted it otherwise. That you found it on another website is no wonder, people take a lot of images from Wikipedia without attribution. The licenses of the image say that one has to give attribution to the photographer. Yes, I don't know if Sandos stole it or not, same goes for other images at Wikipedia. Other minor stuff: nindb.net/punch-out_series.htmlWrong release year for the Wii version. nindb.net/tingles-rosy-rupeeland.htmlLacks the hyphen for "Freshly-Picked", there's no hyphen for "Rosy Rupeeland". nindb.net/super-mario-rpg.htmlLacks Japanese title (Super Mario RPG).

The FAQ page:
Highlighted the problem. Damn Gamespy and its hats!
Secondly, the FAQ page refers to the site as Nintendo Database an awful lot.

Fryguy64 summons YL! Error takes 162 damage! Fryguy64's attack rises by 73.
Actually, Fry contacted me a few days earlier before this site got publicized. I did pick out about 20 errors (which is a lot, considering they are mostly from the old site and I already annoyed Fry all over back then.) Of course, I couldn't cover everything, considering I give a whole lot of games (especially otherwise-popular ones like Zelda and Pokémon games) a miss.
The FAQ does need to be updated, yeah.

Started working through these corrections. I have no doubt there will be more, as I was working to a tight deadline. I'm actually surprised there's so few so far.
The Site FAQ wasn't touched... I basically just uploaded the old one verbatim as one of the last things I did (similarly ANN Super Mario Bros. was one of the last pages uploaded too, as it had somehow ended up lost in the ether with no other page linking to it).

LOL, "Spinning Donkey". Tingle's Balloon Fight DS: club.nintendo.jp/member/exec/entranceNaviPrivilege Scroll to the bottom. I dunno... the boxart doesn't show "DS"... LOL @ Donkey Konga 3. It happened before elsewhere (in the original Mahjong page, now fixed). Do you still do pure HTML editing, Fry? If you do, I'd suggest using some specialized text editor, not the simple NOTEPAD.EXE, if you're not color-blind (honestly, color blindness is something I can't tell by just talking).

Indeed, and there's even another "alternate" box art with the title spelled in English. You mean the one that looks like the Faimcom version with Tingle's name pasted on it?

The Art Style / bit Generations series is unusual in that each game is an individual standalone entry, but the Art Style series is a worldwide series that is just as likely to be searched. There are no other games that fall into the same category.
The only other series that could potentially fall under this is "DS Training", but because there are more standalone series (Brain Age, English Training) under that banner, I decided to keep them separate.
Yep, I still need to check all the alt tage and title tags, as I'm aware some of them have suffered from copy-pasta.
I've had them archived for years from back when Nintendo had them on its website.
I've been using Dreamweaver for a couple of years.

Fry, are you sure the Site FAQ is up to date? Surely you must've gotten tons of emails asking "What happened to the 3PS?" or "Why doesn't that cool guy Nester write for the site anymore?"

Umm... I understand that the flyer is in English... but where did that site get the idea that the flyer was for Europe? SSBM listed Sheriff as Japan Only over here as well... I expect that's just a Japanese flyer written in English. That happened sometimes. Yes, I got tons of emails about it. All from some guy called "Corey Woods", whoever that may be Seriously though, aside from these forums, I only had one guy email me in the past year asking what was happening with the entire site. And that guy used to email me every week complaining that I hadn't added the latest releases... That made me a bit sad
