I usually hate this place to begin with. It's full of idiots who's heads are stuck right up their asses and they live in a stupid dream world. Turns out that now they are talking about a fourth Smash game, and boy do I hate a lot of the comments. HereSome things I understand. I don't care much for tripping either. Bit of a nusence. What annoys me the most if they don't want Sakurai making the game. This kind of burns me as a fan of his work and as an intelligent person. He made the Smash series what it is and they want nothing more then too be done with him? |

Pretty weird. Lots of people just want Sonic characters as third parties...
(If I could choose, I'd rather have them add more Metal Gear characters)

I'd favor more Sonic characters, but really, add Knuckles and Tails at most.

Yep thats pretty bad.
So Brawls not perfect. Smashchu is right it's not Melee2 whatshisface is wrong he does care. Sonic could get Knuckles or Tails realistically. Shadow would more or less end up as a clone. Metal gear is being overlooked greatly. Sakurai didn't ruin brawl actually he saved it from being Melee W/ Internetz and we all saw how wonderful the online is anyway.
Am I the only person who finds the tripping funny? I admit it should be turn-offable (or better yet TRIPPING BRAWL!)
It's also another Roster thread. So can't wait to see Super Smash Bros 4 Nintendo Vs. Sonic Franchise.

I don't like Shadow very much. Any Sonic character that premiered on Dreamcast or later is fairly lame, and nothing compared to the old characters.

If there are more third party characters I would suggest they'd be one from each third party company. Mainly their mascot characters:
SEGA: Sonic (already in, most highly requested character of all)
Konami: Snake (not really the mascot but he's already in)
Capcom: Megaman (highly requested character)
Namco: Pac-Man (classic character recently seen along side Mario)
And I would say that would be good.

Smashboards sucks, news at eleven. So plenty of them want Melee 2.0 and apparently they just can't wait. Yeah they're talking about hacking it to change the physics back to Melee like and shit. Wondering why they don't .... you know, just play Melee? It's not like they use the new items or many new hazard stages anyway. Also I think tripping is awesome, even though it got me killed a few times. It's just so silly. |

E-102 and the Chaos are alright. But like Big the Cat, Cream the Rabbit, that new character that premiered in Sonic Rush, all of them are pretty bad. Heh, Big the Cat is actually my girlfriend's overall favourite. My best friend's is Jet and his girlfriend's is Blaze. In fact, I'm the only person I know personally who favours a character created before the Dreamcast. XD |

Super Smash Bros. 4 won't come until the Wii is retired. And by then there will be more fans of Brawl than of Melee because more people will OWN a Wii with Brawl, than a GameCube with Melee.
Either way, I wouldn't argue that Sakurai should be taken off for being anti-competitive... I would argue that NINTENDO is not into the competitive play that they personally want (i.e. No Items and spam the Glitches!). It's like Team Mario Kart... most pros of Mario Kart abused Snaking so Nintendo took it out of Wii. They also complain about the items, so what does Team Mario Kart do. Add more wacky items that send you from 1st to 8th 12th in record time!
If anything, SSB will have more wacky items and clones!
