Savage Adam, you already posted that elsewhere, and I explained what's going on. Urgh... you don't tell me what to do ever, kay?
Oh, and does anyone else find it ironic that SA's post is actually LESS justified than the one he's having a go at?

I was half asleep when I posted that, as I normally am when I post here, as I can't get to my pc until like 12:00 pm most days. I just thought that the wrongs he committed in the past more than justified a complete banning. Guess I was wrong. BACK ON TOPIC! Overall, I'd give Brawl an 8/10. It seems like, while it has tons of new features, they were all mostly either too small to notice or else just complete crap. Plus it degraded all the cool new stuff that Melee introduced. The trophy selection in Melee was great imo. lots of the most iconic Nintendo characters that everyone new and loved, plus some more obscure ones that would make all the hardcore fans cream there pants. But Brawls trophy selection... 15 OR SO GENARIC PIKMIN ENEMIES! Need I say more? Stickers, Masterpieces, Chronicles etc were all good ideas, but the way they came out was balls imo. The actual fighting I like better than Melee over all, but half the items are crap, Pokeballs seem useless now, and there's like 6 or 7 uber cheap items, compared to 2 or 3 in Melee. AT's and Smash balls are all good and all, but when those are the only two USEFULL items, it gets boring quick. SSE was one of the games strongest points IMO. But still it needs a lot of work to be a true alternative to standard brawls. My Music is, by far, the single best thing in the entire game. I spend half my time with Brawl just messing arround in the sound test. It's just completely outstanding. [Rant warning] And now for the character selection, which is what should be the strong point in the game. Unfortunetly, (sp?) compared to the music selection, it is, to be somewhat abrupt, LAME. Why should the Mario series get LESS characters than it had in Melee? Why Should they take an inconic character like Mewtwo and replace him with Lucario to please the rabid 8yo Pokemon fanboys? Why should Kirby, DK and StarFox get more characters than the uber popular Metroid? And what the hell is Toon Link doing here? [End rant] Even with it's weak points, I still give Brawl a solid 8/10, but compare that to 9.5/10 with Melee.

15 OR SO GENARIC PIKMIN ENEMIES! In its defense, there isn't much else for Pikmin trophies. The enemies are really a big chunk of the game.

While this is true, I for one can't justify the two flying bugs whose names I can't even remember gettting trophies over the Emperor Bulblax or a Spindly Longlegs. I for the most part agree with Savage Adam on everything save characters, which I'm wholly happy with. Most of the new items are useless. Unira is only effective sometimes (but wins for nostalgia value). The Deku Nut is way overpowered. If it just stunned you instead of exploding when it hit you it would be both game accurate and less cheap. Smoke bomb? Completly useless. Most of the new Pokemon I didn't care much for. Piplup was useless (Then again, so was Marril). Meowth is a cool alternitve to Unown, and a nice throwback to the first Smash, but I'd rather have the Unown. The Legendaries are cool, especially Groudon. Masterpieces are useless, plain and simple. SSE is amazing. Better story than I though it'd be. My Music= Epic win. No game's soundtrack comes close.

The Emperor did get a trophy actually. Nope, that was the Empress unless I haven't gotten that trophy yet. If it's just the Empress, it's that much more baffling.

Slightly derailing, what's with the sound from the Wii Remote when Sonic is chosen from the character screen?
What's the significance behind that?

If I'm not mistaken, it's the sound of Sonic picking up a ring, which act as his health. It's been a while since I played Brawl though, so I may be wrong.

No, it's the sound of...
Alright, you know when you beat a level in the first Sonic, you're score gets tallied up, and after its done, it makes that little chime.
That's the sound.

3 months after I got Brawl, I'm still playing it! This game has so many things to do like collecting trophies (less than 20 left to go), stickers (less than 90 left to go), and CDs (how many are in the game?). I love collecting and try to go for 100%... or as close to 100% as possible because some challenges are just too hard to beat compared to Melee, such as 100-Man Brawl, 15-Minute Brawl, and especially Cruel Brawl.
I love most of the characters Sakurai chose to put in the game. At first I was so upset that Toon Link and Wolf were going to be clones when I first heard about them being confirmed in the leaks back in January.... but much to my surprise I main them both. I still don't play as Fox and Falco and I'm not a fan of Star Fox games but I love Wolf! I'd have liked for them to have different Final Smashes such as Four Links and Wolfen instead of Triforce Slash and Landmaster.
R.O.B., Olimar, Ness (from both SSBM and SSBB), Lucas, Pit, Meta Knight, Kirby (from SSBB), Ice Climbers (from SSBB), and Mr. Game & Watch (from SSBB) are my favorite choices. Sadly Jigglypuff and Ganondorf are no longer my mains because they have changed and Mewtwo is gone. Pokemon Trainer is very challenging to play as, especially with Charizard. I'm fairly good with Squirtle and decent with Ivysaur. And I'm so glad Pichu and Dr. Mario got the cut. Young Link came back as Toon Link (I didn't like playing as Young Link in SSBM) and Ike is basically a decloned Roy, IMO.
I love many stages in Brawl. My favorites would be Mario Circuit, Yoshi's Island (SSBB), Smashville (still want Tom Nook to be playable, though), Pirate Ship, Bridge of Eldin, Lylat Cruise, Pictochat, Skyworld, and Spear Pillar. Its because I play on those stages the most. Of those from Melee, my favorites are Yoshi's Island and Jungle Japes (would have peferred Kongo Jungle, though), and Temple (would have preferred Great Bay, though).
Items are mighty fun this time around. But the Home Run Bat now takes longer time to hit that I just throw it at someone instead of missing the hit because its too slow. I love the Assist Trophies, especially with Isaac, Little Mac, Mr. Resetti, Tingle, and Devil. I'd have loved to see Muddy Mole, Duck Hunt Dog, Cuccos, and Eggplant Wizard, though. The only good thing about Pokemon is the return of Meowth! And he's way better than in SSB64! I saw my opponents (and sometimes myself) racking up over 100% from Meowth many times.

Has anyone noticed that it's much harder to be KO'd in Brawl? In Melee I can get Peach up to 170-180% before I die, whilst in Brawl I die at percentages in excess of 200%

The graphics and game play of brawl has spoiled me to such an extent that it hurts my eyes just looking at the graphics of Melee, although Brawl seems lacking in the "classic" trophy section.
Soundtrack is over 9000
