More details about the collection, courtesy of The Mega Man Network. I'm not sure I understand these "features," tho. - Mod Card Collection
Illustrations that are not just fun to look at, but can also be used in the games to cause special effects.
- Character Card Collection
Well known heroes, rivals and even rare characters are collected extensively. With commentary available on each character, collecting them all will be like having a character dictionary.
- Wallpaper Collection
You can record many illustrations and concept artworks as wallpapers. By collecting them all, you will deeply enjoy the world of Zero.
That last sentence is awesome.

THQ announces De Blob 2, scheduled for 2011. It's always interesting when a sequel to an original Wii game is announced, especially when it's third party. It almost seems moot at this point. The idea of a true "second generation" Wii game is pretty rare, even three years in.

Triple post! It appears that Sega has picked up High Voltage's Tournament of Legends (formerly Gladiator A.D.). It's due out in North America on May 18. This is interesting since The Conduit didn't quite catch fire, and Sega made those comments not long ago about probably not releasing any more mature games on the Wii.

Quad post! MONSTER trick! According vg247, rumor has it that Criterion has been working on a new SSX title alongside the new Need For Speed game that was announced for release in 2011. This rumor was reported in the Official PlayStation Magazine. I suppose the Wii is not out of the question since the last game, SSX Blur, was a Wii exclusive. Also, with EA deciding to create NBA Jam for the Wii based on the notion that the Wii audience isn't too interested in sports simulations, SSX would fit right in with that approach.

Looks like there ain't just gonna be a sequel (on mutiple platforms), it's also getting a cartoon series and webisobes!Source.
Also Sniper Elite, a relistic sniping game that came out on last gen platforms (except GCN) is comin to Wii in Europe. Source.

This is interesting since The Conduit didn't quite catch fire, and Sega made those comments not long ago about probably not releasing any more mature games on the Wii. It makes me wonder if the comments made were simply from a single, overzealous Sega employee, or if that was the general rationale of the board of directors, which have potentially realized its mature Wii titles didn't sell because they were abhorrently shitty. Or a combination of both, who knows? Heh, I just reported that myself and was on my way over to let you know. C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER

I've been lightly following Ubisoft's Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. According to a preview at 1up, the Wii version is unique compared to the PS360 version, having its own story and different powers for the Prince. If you haven't been following it, it's supposed to be a "direct" sequel to Sands of Time, taking place before Warrior Within. I haven't played any of the PoP games since Sands of Time, and I'm still a little wary of the series. First of all, I don't have a lot of confidence in Ubisoft. Second, I'm suspicious that this new game is simply the equivalent of a licensed movie tie-in, except that the movie is already based on a game that came out seven years ago and they're cranking out a new product to fill the role. Finally, if Jordan Mechner isn't involved, well, I guess that brings me back to my first point. But I'm still watching with curiosity. The game is scheduled for release on May 18 (just 10 days before the movie).

Warrior Within left a nasty, nasty taste in my mouth. This is supposedly before that wreck was set, so the Prince is not the "I'm a bad ass mofo" character he so abhorrently became yet. (Can you tell I did not LIKE Warrior Within?) Sands of Time is such a grand experience, and I'd like to see UBI Soft remember what worked so well that time with a proper sequel. Will this be it? No idea. It's also, as you mention, a tie-in to the PoP:SoT movie, so it'll likely not be as solid as it could be due to trying to meet the movie's launch. We'll see, I suppose. The Wii version also gets the SNES remake of the original PoP as an exclusive bonus, if that entices anyone. Edit - Here's some impressions from RMC of GoNintendo. Sounds better than I expected, but I'm still wary.

According to Siliconera, Konami has trademarked "Gradius Arc". That's all that's known about it at this time. And now for some speculation: Konami actually announced Gradius VI for PS3 way back before the system even launched. However, the title dropped off the radar quite some time ago, leading many to believe it had been canceled (despite denials from Konami). And now they have trademarked "Gradius Arc" amidst rumors that Sony's own motion controller will be dubbed the "Arc." There's nothing really solid there, but that's why it's speculation. Of course, the most recent Gradius game was Gradius ReBirth for the Wii. Assuming it sold well, could Gradius Arc be a Wii game? Or maybe "arc" simply means it's a new arcade game?

According to GoNintendo, it sounds like those rumors of Dead Space: Extraction being ported to the 360 and/or PS3 just might be true. Can't really blame them, tho.
