If Arthur (Ghosts n Goblins) and Haggar (Final Fight) don't make it in I'm gonna have to choke a bitch.

Capcom created three Ryus and two Arthurs, these are:
Ryu (Street Fighter series) Ryu (Breath of Fire series) Ryu (Avenger arcade)
Arthur (Ghosts 'n Goblins/Ghouls 'n Ghosts) Arthur (Knights of the Round arcade)
I highly doubt Capcom would add another Ryu, because the SF Ryu is one of Capcom's most important characters in their history. If fans still want the other Ryus, then Capcom should give them last names. Ryu had a last name "Hoshi", but unlike Ken's last name "Masters", "Hoshi" hasn't been canonized.
Some Capcom characters I wish at least one would appear along with some popular ones are protagonists and mascots, and these are:
Captain Commando (Capcom USA ads & Captain Commando; though, he's already popular, he's starting to appear a little less often than before) SonSon (SonSon 1 and 2) Momotaro (Pirate Ship Higemaru) Kevin Striker (Street Fighter 2010) Wing the Warrior (Capcom World series) Cyber Blue (Battle Circuit) Magic Swordsman (Magic Sword) Arthur (Knights of the Round; if Capcom wants to switch the GnG Arthur with the KotR Arthur) Ninja Hanamaru (Kamen no Ninja Hanamaru) Either Cleric or Fighter (King of Dragons) Regina (Dino Crisis) Lee Wong (Tiger Road) Lou & Siva (Three Wonders) Trojan (Trojan)

MvC3 eh? Super.
If Blackheart and Shuma Gorath return, I'll be happy. If not, then cities will crumble.
As for new characters, I would like to see Blanka and Lizard show up.

On one hand, we have enough Street Fighter characters.
On the other, it's Blanka. I hope Bison and Akuma make it in too.

I agree with you on that. There are too many SF characters, but Blanka is long overdue. They could remove Zangief, Cammy, or Dan to make room for him.

Thing to remember - this is being built from the ground up, so anyone who was in before doesn't have guaranteed admission to the roster, a la MVC2. The doors are wide open for anyone to get in, and if Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom proved anything, it's that Capcom can be more open-minded about a diverse roster than not. We also have to consider the slots available - one reason I think MVC2 was so full of SF/X-Men fighters was that it had 56 slots to fill (and the high rate of SF/X-Men characters they created in the past games). I'm expecting 4 - 5 Street Fighter/X-Men characters in this, truth be told. We'll see, though. I'm having fun speculating about the game over at LVLs. right now, with more coming today. ^_^

The Mega Man Zero Collection has been officially dated for June 8 in North America. Here is the official English trailer (altho the game footage is still in Japanese): The official site is also online.

Triple combo! Groovy! I suppose this isn't an official announcement, but it comes straight from the horse's mouth. According to Doug TenNepal, the creator of Earthworm Jim, the fourth game in the series is currently in development for Wii: Now, according to him, the only thing still in production is Earthworm Jim 4. Interplay wanted to push it as a quick-and-shitty release to make a quick buck; but Mr. TenNapel is a pretty cool guy, and he told them that if the project was going to go through, it would have to be done right (then I imagine he ripped off his shirt and shoved their faces into his hairy chest). So the current plan is to release EWJ4 for the Wii sometime in the distant future.

So, now it looks like there is no Earthworm Jim 4. Apparently, Doug TenNepal says that nearly everything he was reported as having said (in the attributed blog post) was false. "I need some real press source to straighten out these rumors. I read the initial post by the guy who put up the drawing I did for him and almost NOTHING in the post he wrote was true," explained the father of Earthworm Jim. "I'm getting piles of letters asking me to confirm or deny the post and from what I've read it's total disinformation."
TenNapel was happy to share the truth of the matter, however: "Interplay actually wants to do the game right! We've been talking about a game now for two years. They want me to be involved, but times in games are tough right now for everyone. They have to raise a lot of money to fund the game properly. So the way the guy posted it as Interplay wanting to do a rip off game is flat out false.
"In our early discussions about the game, we had tentatively brainstormed ideas for the Wii," he continued. "That is NOT a confirmation like the guy posted. We haven't presented the idea to Nintendo and all of what the guy posted in the article could actually jeopardize a real EWJ game coming out on the Wii, by Interplay involving me!" Source: GamesRadar

Yeah, I saw that. Shame. XD
I hate people who do shit like this. This is extremely bad because TenNapel was nice enough to sign something for him. And then he goes off and spews a heap o' lies that EVERYONE swallows. Shitty, man.
