Alright, here are a loooot of missed cameos for this game. Classic BlocksIn Hoohoo Hooniversity, there is a room which shows different blocks from classic Mario games. A video can be viewed here of someone using them. It's about 7 minutes in. Psycho KamekThere is a Magikoopa dressed just like White Mage from Final Fantasy. Playin' With PowerWhen the Hammerhead Bros. make your first hammer, they tell you "Now you're playin' with power!"This was the old Nintendo slogan. Super ScopeA couple of Bill enemies are shown with SuperScopes.Humming the themeIn Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Mario whistled the Super Mario Bros. theme while showering in the Marrymore Suite. Similarly, Mario is briefly seen humming the theme while showering in the opening to this game. WIN-tendoA company, named WIN-tendo is mentioned in the arcade.

Quite a few of these are in the Master Cameo List at the top of this board, but there's one or two I had missed or hadn't spotted before... I am quite appalled that I don't have all these up yet If anyone can get screenies of these, that'd be great!

I don't think so. Maybe we need the Japanese name to make sense of it (it might be a pun in Japanese).

It might just be an ordinary kong, but the fact they used a skeleton version still gets me though..

According to TMK, Bink's Japanese name is "Binky". themushroomkingdom.net/m&lss_j-e.shtmlThe names of all Kong Family members end with "y" (or "ie"), y'know? "Binky" might be a reference to this. Kiddy Kong is even known as "Dinky Kong" (or Dinkey) in Japanese.

Well, he's a skeleton because everyone on the ship is a skeleton. They've been stranded in the desert forever.

More cameos! Starbeans CameosWario, Fox, Link, Captain Olimar, Samus and even an Excitebiker were planned to be in Starbeans cafe and taste drinks, while Professor E. Gadd was only planned to appear once. E. Gadd's role was expanded at the last minute, however each gift still has a relevant link to each character. Here are the removed conversations. 1. Greed Wallet (Wario) 2. Bonus Ring (Star Fox) 3. Excite Spring (Excite Bike) 4. Great Force (The Legend of Zelda) 5. Power Grip (Metroid) 6. Cobalt Necktie (It says it's from Pikmin, but I've never played it. If anyone here has played Pikmin, would you be kind enough to answer if this was ever used in it?) 7. Game Boy Horror SP (GameBoy Advance SP) GameBoy ColorAlso on your fourth drink, E. Gadd will communicate with you via a giant GameBoy Color.

The Cobalt Necktie was originally the UV Lamp. I don't think it even got a sprite before the change. Likewise, the Energy Tank was changed to teh Power Grip. I'm very surprised Fry doesn't have this up yet. themushroomkingdom.net/m&lss_lost.shtml

Is this anywhere in M&L? Algus Underdunk from deviantART, YouTube and the N-Sider forums told me that he saw those Christmas tree lobsters (or turtles) in the game.

And the reason why Geno appeared in M&L is that he is a reference to another game (Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars) also made by nearly everyone who made M&L.

Those crab enemies aren't in the game, just Hermie the boss.

Those crab enemies aren't in the game, just Hermie the boss. Right, Hermie the boss is based on the crab-like enemies in Tomato Adventure. M&L and Tomato Adventure are both developed by AlphaDream.
