I'm just foolin'. It's a shared opinion, hopefully, that DK was represented well.

Everyone seems to be having a bad case of the spazmo. Now the Wario Land series is forgotten? What about the brand new Wii game in the series?! Parrothead listed loads of reasons why the Game Boy deserves more representation, and I hate to repeat myself - but nearly everything in that list IS ALREADY represented! People are trying to justify their desire for a Game Boy themed stage with completely nonsensical arguments. Hell, some of you actually seem to have forgotten what is IN Brawl already. It's like arguing with someone who has never played the game, although I know you all (mostly) have! It boggles my mind! Oh, and Dasher, I didn't read your speech, I merely stated my opinion on the insanity of the last couple pages. As the proprietor of an established Nintendo fansite, why does this not surprise you?

I'm just foolin'. It's a shared opinion, hopefully, that DK was represented well. All except me, I'd say! Anyway, I hope that there's no 'Boss rush' mode in the next SSB, as I can't even do it in Brawl (even on easy!).

You don't want it in the next game because you couldn't beat in this one? That's like saying there shouldn't be a multiplayer option because you have nobody to play with.

(And Smash Bros just seem like a Kirby and Pokémon combined for me)

As far as third-parties go, I'd expect Mega Man, because Capcom wanted Mega Man in but waited for Nintendo to call, and Nintendo wanted Mega Man in but waited for Capcom to call. There's wriggle room as long as one called the other.
I see Mega Man in Brawl being a mix between the Original Mega Man and MegaMan Trigger from MegaMan Legends with just a dash of Mega Man X. Basically, Mega Man distilled to an iconic form as the Original Mega Man in moveset, but being detailed like Mega Man Trigger, like the more cartoony characters get in Smash. They will also borrow moves from Mega Man X.

Because of thisI don't know about Nintendo really wanting Megaman though, in fact I'm pretty sure they don't give a s hit.

Here's the thing, Kojima begged for Snake to be in Brawl.
Sonic was the most requested.
As for Mega Man, no one approached anyone. Anyway, I think Pac-Man is better suited as a character, only because he has had a closer relationship with Nintendo in recent years.

Here's why. Sakurai said he would have to be approached. Inafune doesn't see this and thinks he'll be approached.
Thanks Inafune, this Smash is probably the last in the same style, and we didn't see Capcom cause you were modest.

I think Pac-Man is better suited as a character, only because he has had a closer relationship with Nintendo in recent years. That's true. According to Shigeru Miyamoto's interview in Nintendo Power's Star Fox 64 Player's Guide, his favorite game is Pac-Man. Also, Miyamoto took some ideas from it to create one of his least known games: Devil World.
