He was fine at first and made a heroic sacrifice. Then they pointlessly brought him back to life and made him the Wesley of the Sonic franchise. That's why I hate him, anyway.

Oh crap, our first Shadow fanboy... Also I have never figured this out ridicules idea that somehow Shadow deserves hate or something. I mean he's not any less unoriginal than almost ever freaking other doppleganger character throughout history. Shadow is to Sonic as Luigi is to Mario. Except instead of being flamboyant and cowardly to Mario's Heroics, Shadow is dark and mysterious to Sonic's "You're too slow!" attitude. |

Luigi, a recolor? Preposterous! Because you touch yourself at night. Its really not that hard to at least give forums a quick read over before you start posting in them. We did just discuss this. Really, who cares? I'm starting to get sick of this stupid battle. It's a pointless thing and there is nothing about it that could so much as agitate anybody. Shadow does not deserve hate, Teev is completely right. Whether the game is fun or not is all I care about. So Shadow's not the best character in the world? So some people think he's a shitty knock-off? I don't care! Nobody should care! Every mistake is just a step towards perfection. Let's leave it there!
And I am NOT an easy person to piss off, I'll tell you that much.

Unfortunally, Shadow is the most popular character who is NOT Sonic. Also, apparently people like SILVER! Old fans hate characters like these, but the new fans seem to love them.

That's because he's called Shadow and he's a mysterious ultimate weapon hedgehog with a black colour who struggles with himself about being a weapon. Teenagers love that shit.
He also stars in a game with guns and guns are BADASS

To be honest, I don't put much hope or promise into the Sonic fan community anyways. The vast majority of them became furries during the switch to the Internet, so I tend to avoid them at all costs regardless of the games. Not saying that the Mario fandom is without its Birdo and Yoshi vore, but at least we don't have creepy "Tails and Amy-chan" lesbian sex scenes.

No, but some people want to believe that.  I didn't care for Shadow much in the beginning and now I dislike him even more since they cheapened his heroic death and basically Wesley-fied him. Any game where Shadow has a small role or outright doesn't appear at all is a good thing in my mind. |
